myLot page 4. Why is it so?

Have you ever noticed something like this? That in certain pages there are few number of topics while the others have 10 topics (which is the maximum number per page). Just take a look of the snapshots I have in myLot interest on page 4. Hurry, before someone could post another topic in this interests.
You ever wonder why this would happen? It should have move down or up? Or what?

I can make a guess at what happened - someone played darts and aimed well 
Looks like some discussions got deleted. There were loads of repeats in this interest today and that's probably where a lot of them were. When they go the pages get lighter until they fill up again.

I see, that could be the reason why. But ain't it weird that when a discussions are being deleted, those under them should go up and there should be at least 10 of them on each page? Or it's just the server was slow to update it and or it is not updated in real time? Well, I am just curious.

Just as long as the violations go I don't really go back and check what remains and how many are on each page.
In the MEM section I have even noticed entire pages to be completely empty - that says a lot

Do you mean that page 5 is also full?
The weird behavior on myLot pages is when looking at the Discussions Started by another member. You'd see that there are around 5 pages there. On the 5th page though...it's empty! Why would there be a 5th page if the 4th wasn't even full?

That's exactly what I meant. It's really weird but I am getting some hints already while reading some of the responses by others. I came into conclusion that it happened probably because the update in this portion is not that fast or not in real time. So when a discussion/s gets deleted, those under them may not go up or perhaps go down as fast as it was deleted.

Well, funny thing, I have not noticed it until I have read your post. Seems like I am not that much of an observer. I concentrate more on the topic and the responses without taking into account the pages. Well, I think its because of some deleted post. I could be mistaken, but that could probably be the reason.

I usually don't mind something like this but since I am roaming around my interests, it always caught my attention for the short lists in a page knowing that there should be a maximum 10 posts in every page. Another thing that would get my attention is, when I scroll down it should be a long way but sometimes it is just too short. So that distracts my attention.

I noticed that every page had a maximum 10 discussions in it. So if they have the same discussions and had been deleted then those below them should go up for sure. Well, I just don't have anything to do last night and it just suddenly pop up in my mind.

I also see that at times.
It's probably what the first person that posted said, discussions could have gotten deleted because they are useless.
Or maybe one member decided to spam a whole page with discussions and they got deleted.

I am thinking that way but what made it weird (at least to me) is that why those discussions below them did not go up if there are deleted discussions, right? But I am also guessing the the update are not in real time for this to happen. Well, I am just brain storming my own mind.
