Well maybe a computer with a good processor would be female as it can multi task. And one that crashes when you try and open something else, would be male.

I don't think so that a good processor can do a multitask and comparing with female, its something not true, because a processor cannot do the multiple task, its task is very fast that we feel like doing multiple work at a time.

I must admit that you have hit on some original thinking here because I just think of the computer as it. Maybe it is male though because of the name, Pentium and Athlon sounds male. Who know? Cheers!!

oh really, it sounds like male when we talk about pentium of sometime else, but do you ever think that it could be female if you think about its sensitivity, i mean their processor, motherboad and many more, this things are very tough to deal, you have to handle with care. So viewing all this things,i think it similar to female. isn't it?

Well... I always name my computer with girl's name so I think my computer is female and I always refer her with 'she' means I think she is alive. LOL.
I thought about this since years ago, I even have names for my laptop and my mobile phones too. All female's name

Never thought of it before. I've always thought of my computer as "the computer". I guess if I had to choose though, I'd probably think of it as male. It just doesn't look very feminine. Unless I had a pink or purple case for it of course ;)
