BB Gun too dangerous?

Do you guys thinks BB guns are too dangerous? Well I do. I had this friend who was playing with his BB gun and accidentally shot himself, reflected by the wall, and got himself in the side of his right eye. Luckily, the day he was shot I was right beside him, so I immediately took him to the hospital. In the car, I asked him whether his eyes hurt or not. He said the eye felt very numb, and from that day on I never touched my BB Gun ever again. I also began to realize how important eyes are to us Human beings. Luckily, when we got to the hospital, the doctor said it just got him beside his right eye and not actually on the eyeball. We were very relieved and the next day my friend trashed his gun away and swore to never fire one again. As for me, I didn't trash my gun but instead never touched it again. I later decided to keep it because I found out that it can be quite a good weapon just in case if someone decides to rob my house. A baseball bat and a BB gun can be quite a deadly combo... Now that you guys know the deadly effect of a BB gun, what do you guys think about them? As for me, I think that they should be restricted 18 in ALL countries. No parents would want to have their children get shot in the eye and lose it forever! Or, instead of restricting it, there should be a law or rule that requires a BB gun protection glasses to be worn at all time when using a BB gun. That way, everyone would be safe again and BB guns would be popular and widespread again!
