hi friends.you might have missed it.the last time we toured new zealand,we lost the series very badly and believe me,the last time the team went to new zealand was no ordinary team.it had icons who lead us to the finals of world cup but this time we win the odi series comprehensively. if u r thinking that it has to do mainly because of the present indian team,U R DEAD WRONG. the thing is a lot of money is at stake on this tour and the new zealand board dont want matches which ends in 33 overs so they intentionally prepared the pitches flat so people can get to see some huge scoring matches and more importantly,100 over matches. so it planned as happened they gave 4 flat pitches to indian team for the first 4 matches and we won and the last one, they prepared the conventional one,we got bundled out for 149. still think we are the number one team?

Hi star, Well people arent happy even when we are winning. I mean if some one said that India is going to win the ODI series 3-1 before the series started, We Indian would have taken that gleefully. If Nz is giving us flat pitches, whats the problem in it? In the record book we have registered our first ever ODI win there. Thats what matters. Well I agree that the pitches were very bad lat time we toured there, but u have to c this New zealand side as well. I mean its so fresh looking side with no experiance at all. They bowled a whole lot of full tosses to the Indian batsman which resulted in easy runs. Its not our fault. All well when it ends well. No one complained when aussies won everywhere. They all looked at the end results. So better be happy and enjoy the recent success of our team world wide. Go Team India! Cheers, Tutul

to remind u something friend, last year when we won the test match against australia in perth,it was said to be one of the best and i agreed whole heartedly.why?because its the aussies backyard and one of the fastest pitch in cricket.winning there is something to cheer about.bating in a flat pitch, almost like indian pitches, winning a series and boasting we won a series in new zealand is plain stupid.its more like winning a touring newzealand team in india.yeah no one complained because they won on every kind of pitches ,flat or pasy or double bounce pitches.they were consistent.if u noticed that we havent toured from the sub continent after the aussie series and winning all the matches in sub continent.its not something u have to be proud about.its like playing in home condition.

And why would you believe that the reason India as bowled out it is because of the way the pitch was made. Are you saying that the pitch was being fixed as a cricket fan I have to go against this. You see there are times where complacency comes in a team. India has on those games and become complacent that the last one was a sweep as well and it was prove otherwise. I believe we as cricketing fans should always have an open mind and never try to assume because this will be animosity at the fan base. Take for instance England they came to the caribbean complacent and receive a WI team that has now want to win and they were pay for this complacent. This will continue to happen if one always underestimate its opponent.

believe me.the report i got suggested that the pitches were prepared flat for getting the audience.it was the same pack of cricketers on either side.but the result was very different from the rest of the games.i think sehwag is the onlky guy who doesnt care what happenes in the pitch.if obrien got the swing he got in the last match in all the matches,he wouldnt been dropped from the side.i still believe pitch and conditions did favour and i believe the test matches will yield results if they play in that same pitch

that match was fixed, you can easily see that indian team purposely play bad, giving away wickets. it happens everytime, it happend even in lanka, check the history you will know

The pitch was flat this time too. Only the conditions favored swing in the morning. If you noticed, almost all indian wickets were gifted away today. ( there was 2 run outs too) . Raina & Yuvi may not be great players of swing, but this team is still a very good batting side. Shewag has hit 2 aggressive centuries in the 2002-03 series in new-zealand when the ball was swinging like a pendulum. The comprehensive serties win is more because new_zealand is a weak team now without bowlers like hadlee & bond. In today's case it was lack of application , because the will to grind it out was missing. India had lost the last game in srilanka too after dominating for the first 4 matches. Let us not put too much of analysis on this one result. Let's wait & watch; Test matches should a better indication of our strengths & weaknesses.

I have got the opportunity to watch the matches last time when India toured NZL. The pitch was to be blamed for all that had happened. The team was not so much unbalanced. In one match when I got up, the Indian batting was over. I can't recall exactly but they were not having the services of Bond. This time the management has intentionally provides flat wickets, as you said. If you see the way Indian played in the series, it will be more clear. Their performance in T20 was very much opposite of ODI. Have you seen the Australian performing like this two years ago? Any way, all these stuffs will become more transparent once the test matches were completed. I think, Indian team is going to fall flat in the series. Though pray for some good performances by our compatriot.
