Hello dear fellow mylotters and friends,
I like to take some photos in my spare time, especially when I travel somewhere and also when it is during some special festivals and on some other special occasions. I am not a professional, but an amateur only. lol
Here is one of the photos that I took from one of my windows in my apartment. It was taken at 18:47p.m. June 17th, 2008, when it was raining hard outside. When I saw the beautiful fog in the remote mountain, I quickly took out my digital camera for a few photos, this one included. I took the photo with my window shut as rain was beating the window. From the photo you can see some rain drops on the window.
Do you like to take photos, please?
Are you willing to share with me one of the photos you have ever taken, please?
Thank you in advance for your response. Good day to you all.
Love from williamjisir

Hi williamjisir! I will check on your photo as soon as I post my response because I am responding through email notification at the moment. I love taking photos but right now I do love taking pictures of people. I like capturing different moods on faces. I am an amateur too and I am just starting to discover the world of photography. I really am amazed of what I can capture in my digicam.
Take care and blessings to you!

Hi william!
I do love to take pictures. My family once told me that I should have been a photographer instead of taking up Nutrition course back in college. For years, I've been taking pictures of my family. And now that I have a family of my own, I always make it a point to take pictures of my husband and especially of our son.
For almost 5 years, I've taken pictures of my family and as a result have created three, thick family albums made from scratch! I don't buy ready-made picture albums. I make my own.
I'll share those photos with you tomorrow. Because for today, I can't upload anymore pictures, for I've reached the daily limit of picture uploads.
Aside from taking pictures of my son, I occassionaly take pictures of what Mother Nature has to offer. I remember back from college a funny experience I've had. My classmates teased me to no end because I was excitedly taking pictures of a carabao!I was raised in the city and it was the first time I've seen a live one. So, I took advantage of it and took pictures of that carabao in every angle.

Hello jcj. I am glad to know that you like to take photos as well. Yeah, it is a lot of fun to take photos. I started to love it as a teenager when I was at junior high school, but back then I was not able to afford a camera of mine because I was dependent on my parents. I got my first camera when I was in my early twenties after I graduated from college and worked for two years.
Speaking of the carabao photo you took, it reminds me of the buffalo that I had fun with when going to the country as a student decades ago. I was trying to get on the buffalo I saw on the farm when I was a teen, but I could not get on it. I did not feel afraid of trying to get on it then. Now I don't think that I will ever try again. hehehe.
I know that there is a photo limitation a day. I would like to enjoy one of the photos you took tomorrow when you are free here at Mylot. Thank you so much for your response, my dear friend. Good day.

Hello William. Thanks for sharing your cool and nice nature element photo.
THE WORLD OF PHOTOGRAPHY - INTRODUCTION
During my young age, I don't hate but just dislike photography and the world of photography. But now, it discerned me good value after 8.8.2008.
A photo just like a paint, a good one does edify the viewer. On one photo inserts thousand of words. Me too, not so familiar with the professional camera on its advance technique and features. Only know how to use an auto-focus type of camera with simple application features. But, I believe that I can take time to acquaint myself with photography and the world of photography.
Especially, after I've uploaded five (5) videos to YouTube then I know the beauty of it in creating attractive "entice" to viewers. One more thing that I found the great value in one photo, on looking at it the story running in viewer's mind without the object movement. Not like a video or movie, where viewer's mind has to catch up the object movement.
ANSWERING YOUR TWO (2) QUESTION MARKS
1. YES - I like to take photos.
2. My photo sharing for you and not the fake one, William. Honestly, my finger snapped this quite "weird" moment, as attached.
I don't know what to call it?

Hello, my dear friend Williamjisir. I love to take photos when I travel overseas. As soon as I get home I rush off to the shop to get my photos developed. Then I put them in an album. At the top of my book case I have my collection of travel photos. On the spine it says which country the photos were taken in like my latest one is South Africa. When I am home I take family photos and put these in small albums that I keep in boxes in a drawer lower in my book case. I really enjoy looking back at photos from the past.

Whenever there is an important social activity, festival, or some other occasions, I make full use of my digital camera to "write down" this very important moment in life. Good day to you and welcome back from your travel to South Africa. Take care.

No, I am not good photography. My brother, younger brother, is very good at it and the camera belongs to him. Earlier when we doesn't have digital camera, I was afraid of even touching it because once you take a photo, it can't be undone as the reel gets wasted. So, I started only when the digital one came into existence.
Thank you!

Hello sanuanu. Before I had my digital camera years ago, I also used the kind of camera that needs to have a roll of film installed in it. I had and still have those films in my drawers. Good day, friend.

I used to carry my manual 35 mm camera everywhere. Even before that I had an instamatic as a kid and I was always taking pictures. Now I mostly take documentary photos or candid snapshots. I usually keep my digital camera with me just in case so can whip it out if needed but it's only 3 mp. This photo is on a street in the French Quarter and shows some of the buildings of the downtown business district in the background.

Hello Canellita. I thank you for the photo. I love the Royal Street in the French Quarter. I love the street for its houses alongside the street because it has long corridors. And you won't have to worry about getting caught in the rain and getting suntanned in the hot summer. This kind of street is disappearing in this part of China where I work and live.
Oh, it is interesting to know that you had an instamatic. I also used one when I was young, but the effect was not good enough. It is for fun only.
Thank you so much for sharing with me the photo and your response. Have a good day, friend.

I also like to take photo in my spare time, but unfortunately, the professional camera is very expensive so that I still just have a family camera. Even if, I also like to take it when I travel somewhere. Another unfortunate thing is that I still can't use photograph software well , I must study it in the near future. So, to be more professinal hobbyist, I still have a long road to walk.

I would love to take pictures. Unfortunately, I don't have a camera of my own yet. And seeing all you having these great pictures makes me crave to have one sooner. When i had my camera, i liked taking pictures of sceneries especially mountains and sunsets. It's relaxing and makes you look at things in a different perspective. aaahhhh... i just can't to get my hands on a camera.

Frankly, I only have a little interest on taking photos. I only like to take photos for my baby. When he was in his 1 years old, every day, I took photos for him. It's a happy time to see my baby in photos. Day by day, I can see how he grows up.
But refer to take photos itself, I must say I don't like it really. I only can handle my camera simply. I just don't want to study those complex operators, even though they are just in the instruction book. I think it's the difference between man and woman, hehe.

Hello dear pauline. Glad to know that you take whole bunches of photos for your baby every day in spite that you don't show much interest in photography. I am sure that your kid will be very appreciated to you for those photos that you have taken for him so that he can enjoy himself by looking at his own photos as a baby. It is a good way to memorize his growth by taking some photos daily. Keep it up, friend. Good day.
