should i bid goodbye? or should i fight?

I believe that i am really a true lover, that proves when i & my boyfriend broke up. He currently has a new girlfriend, but he still texts me & asks how i am. i once admitted that i still ove him because that is really true, even if many times he hurt me so much. he also confessed that he feels the same way too. Apparently, he just used his girlfriend to forget me. I want the two of us to get back together, but i don't think that would happen. i even wrapped w/ a high pride, but i trully loved him. what do you think? should i fight for him or just let him go?

How would you feel if when you got back together he was always texting the last girl he was with?
I personally would be upset and my guess is that you would to. I ask that to point out that this guy clearly has issues with commitment. He is with one girl and talking to you, giving you the impresion that he still loves you. If he loved you the way you want to be loved he would not be with the other girl.
You say he has hurt you in the past, the question is: are you going to continue to let him hurt you?

I would let him go. You are young and deserve to be treated better than you describe. Someone who truely loved yyou would not use another to forget you. Texting one girl and confessing love while in a relationship with another is a bad circle to get involved in. I hope this makes sense!

You should first tell him to let go of the other girl and save her the grief and agony. What he did was unfair to her and she will not doubt do the same to someone else because she's been used, obviously! I wish you luck and getting back together and hope it works out. But, for whatever reason you need him to hurt you, so good luck with that strange pattern.
