Can anyone explain the benefits associated with adding a TAG to a discussion response? I'm not sure that they are terribly helpful, but perhaps somebody else can point out some benefits of doing this do me. I'm sure there must be some benefit or tags would not be an option, but it is not readily apparent to me just what the benefits are. Help please. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I'm not sure, but I assume it helps people find your discussion. If you started a discussion about different types of dogs, and put the names of different types of dogs e.g. 'poodle' for tags, then someone looking up 'poodle' would find your discussion. I think that is what they are for.
