What will you do with your tax refund?

Hi MyLotters, I filed my taxes early and knew I would be getting a refund. I thought for days and days what I would get with my refund. For me, a refund means a little extra cash as all my bills are caught up and nothing is outstanding.
I decided to buy myself a little treat. I ordered yesterday, a computer from Dell. I am so excited. I went to their outlet online and found a great computer for under $500. It has lots of bells and whistles with it and lots more memory than this dinosaur that I am using. I have, right now, the first pentium 3 that Gateway put out. lol
So I was wondering if any of my fellow MyLotters are planning something special to do with their refund check. So my question is: What will you do with your refund check? Will it be something on a wish list or something that is needed?

I have an extra $20 taken out each payday so that I can get a refund. I just would rather do that than risk owing the IRS any money and not having it. I sorry you fall in the middle. Seems the penalize those that are married, too. Do you hold any out of your checks for refund?

Sounds like a good plan. Are you looking for work? I know jobs here in Idaho are near to impossible to find. Good luck to you if you are job searching.

Well, if you are in california... they haven't let us know yet if our refund will be in a check/cash or an I.O.U. the state is practically broke. But of course, if you owe in california, you are not allowed to give the state an I.O.U. for your taxes owed! Sound fair to you!?!?

I am talking about the federal taxes and if you get a return.
No, that does not sound fair. But why should state government be run any different than our federal government. Do onto the people and run like he**.

I won't get one. I have to pay quarterly and since I'm behind they'll just confiscate it before I even get it. I hope to have it all straightened out by next year.

I couldn't find a job this year, but I know last year when my tax refund rolled in I went on a mini vacation with my fiance. Lol, I say mini because it was supposed to be three days, but we were so home sick it ended up being 12 hours! lol! Most likely if either of us were to have worked, some would go to our wedding expenses.

I love to hear about people who actually get homesick. Means there is a loving atmosphere in the home. When is the wedding date?
