i hate those emails that cometo me ask by a general or a china person or african person asking can you help me tranfer my money or they say you won something. I of them almost got me when they said it was a online job. They wanted me to receive checks then cash them then send them through fedex to someone else and i get 10% of them and they werent small checks the first one i got was like $3000 and i has going to get like $245. To bad i found out it was a scam well really lucky i could have probly went to jail. i called the number where they told me to send it and they say it was a scam but i think the person knew about it and didnt want to get in trouble. So my question is have you gotten any of these and what you think the email com should do about it.

The thing that is more amazing is these emails generate from people sitting in coffe shops and internet cafes in remote location and they send thousands a day hoping to get one nibble. The amazing piece is that people fall for it and they actually work. It is horrible and crazy to think it works more than likely impossible to catch anyone based location or fake names.

I used to receive 3 to 5 such emails everyday and of course they will be filtered as spam mails. I will even open those mails and will delete.I think still they are getting people to cheat and I don't know where and how they are collection our emails. Most of the online earning sites will be source for them.Never open such mails and never care.

The simple yet always forgotten saying goes: There's no free lunch in this world. So you shouldn't bother about the money or any other rewards that such emails promise you if you don't remember doing anything to deserve them.
I've seen a lot of emails like these in my inbox initially, but I've marked them all as spam, and now they are left unnoticed in my spam folder, waiting to be trashed after 30 days.

I don't think it's easy to wipe out those scams from the net. What I do is go to a link that I found through the FBI website and submit the e-add that sent me the scam mail. It may not matter much but at least that's one e-mail address added on the watch list.

Basically what i do for these annoying e-mails that keeps loading my inbox is that SIMPLE!! I delete them without a second glance. I have read so much about e-mails scams that i don particularly bother about somebody saying that i won a jackpot or some amount of money. Nowadays i can even see that there are lots of e-mails offers regading this or that jobs that i never ever applied for. One thing that i do that keeps me off this scammers is that whatever the subject, i will first check who is it from, and if it is somebody i don know at all, then the e-mails is deleted at that instant. I am not easily fooled but one time i had to open the e-mail then i found out that they have used my friend's name to send that e-mail. gosh!! it was just a hoax anyway. so off it went to the dustbin. huh!!

You have to be careful about these scams as sometimes they ask you to pay something then you dont get it back. I always delete such emails, which usually go in my junk mail. These cheques most of the time cannot be used as they are fake and it may be possible they ask you to pay charges.

l ever received several these kinds of emails, saying a Nigerian bank officer wanted to transfer funds out and request me to give all my bank particular to him to begin the transaction. Another case is, a french IT company said my e-mail had won a million pounds and waiting for me to collect that cheque. It also asking for my personal particular to update the transaction. Of course, l don't trust any of these transaction online. After read, l just delete them.

The best thing to do is nothing. These people just send random emails in mass until they get a response. If you don't respond, then you win. If you are ever in doubt about anything - go to http://www.snopes.com/ and look it up. They are up on the latest scams and "phishing" emails. Many of those emails are looking for financial information. Remember, your bank or credit card company will NEVER ask you for personal information in an email or on the phone. Don't get scammed.

These e-mails can really be annoying. I mostly get them from Nigeria or some other African country. Once this young lady posted a comment to one of my social networking profiles. Said she admired me and would like to get to know me better. She gave me her e-mail address and asked that I contact her. Well I did. She the sent me a picture of herself (I think) and started the sob story about losing her parents and siblings in the war and that an uncle left how many millions of pounds and would like to give it to me for safe keeping etc, etc, etc.. right then I knew it was a scam and just deleted it.
Every time I get an e-mail from someone who comes up with a story of having millions of pounds I just stop reading and just delete. Haven't had a few in a while though, which is good.

Recently, in Australia, a major SPAM ring was discovered and shut down by the police. They used to send over 45 BILLION SPAM E-Mails per day. It's amazing how they are able to do that. But no longer! The AFP got rid of them for good :)

Most of such emails get filtered and go into my spam box. But the few that get lucky are usually deleted. I played along once to see what information they really seek from me and how they plan to make me a scapegoat. I asked them for specific information, particularly photo-id, their bank details and phone number, and they chickened out.
A couple of times, I replied to 'claim your million here' emails by saying "thanks but I'm donating it back to you. I think you deserve it for being so generous". LOL. i wouldn't take them seriously. Atleast it assures me that there are plenty of people out there who are more desperate for money than me!

Yeah, I get those all the time and I am really tired of them too. I think they are trying to find someone stupid enough to deposit the check and send them money out of your account before they find out the check won't clear. That's only guessing though because I have never looked into it any farther than deleting the e-mail.
I used to get winning sweepstakes e-mails all the time and even got a real looking check in the mail once. I am glad those have slacked off. I am tired of these low life people trying to take advantage of people.
