My fiancee and I listen to music every night when we go to sleep. I don't need it - personally I'd love to sleep in silence. But he on the other hand needs the noise when going to sleep. Luckily it doesen't bother me at all.
What kind of music do you listen to when you go to sleep?
When I was in college I had a roommate for a year that stayed up until the wee hours of the morning and she was very loud! I use to listen to Dave Matthews and it helped calm me and put me to sleep.

I think i even can't live without music:work with music, exercise with music ,walking with music, certainly sleep with music.I often write for the papers of my university, and without music I even can't give one word.I just finished an article about my father yesterday and during writing the song "father's shoes"(A chinese old song)was on all the time.It gave me the mood and imagination.

That happens to me almost every night. I get my iPod, put it a 25% volume, and then fall asleep. I usually have a very, very weird dream, something related to the song on loop. Once, I was in school being taught by a walrus, because I was listening to I am the Walrus by the Beatles.

No, I don't go to sleep listening to music. Three reasons that I can think of are: if I had anything over my ears for a long time they would itch and feel uncomfortable, I wouldn't be relaxed knowing that I couldn't hear anything happening in the house (like an intruder or an explosion), and thirdly is when I listen to music I get so involved in it and would want to listen right till it finished!
