Do you live in a northern state where spring clothes are out in abundance but it is too cold to wear them? Do you wear them anyway and how do you keep warm?

I wear the same clothes all year round. I was never one for fashion. Although, being a man, I do admire the women that dress with very little on in the summer. No, I am not a pig, I just admire them. I am happy with the woman I am with.

Must be a guy thing. Actually, all of that is. So you wear long pants in the summer? I know a lot of men that do. Admiring scantily clad women, yep definitely a guy thing. Quickly explaining yourself about your wife. Yep, I see a frying pan in your future. You might want to duck. Just kidding.

@mommaj No, not my wife, my girlfriend. My ex was not happy if I looked once in awhile. My girlfriend totally understands that whole thing. She was a model for years, so she knows how men look. I don't mean anything by it. When you see something beautiful, what's the harm in looking and admiring? None that I know of.

@inertia4 My ex cheated on me and it wasn't because he was looking. HAHA. Don't let your ex fool you. She was probably looking too. I know I do, and guys are worse. We don't admit it and you all will.

i have noticed that too. i guess it is so you have time to get everything you need before you need them. i do buy the clothes, but i do not wear them until the weather is right for them. i don't want to get sick. now is the time of year where it is easy to get sick. so i am not going to change my clothes until the weather is warm enough to.

That sounds reasonable to me. I just can't believe spring and summer stuff is out already. I was wondering if anyone wore it with cover ups or long johns underneath. LOL

I think those body suits that you can put under clothing work good too. They even come in different colors.

Isn't that crazy how they put the clothes out for the next season before you're done with the current one? We don't see that quite as much here in the deep south because we're having less and less of real winter so the difference in seasons is more about color though I think people are paying less attention to that as well and just wearing whatever. I see a lot of layering here which is sometimes necessary as the weather may be one thing in the morning, another in the afternoon and change again by the time people are headed home/out in the evenings. I have started packing up only a portion of seasonal clothes and keeping a few things out for when it warms up/cools off and especially pieces that layer well. Ordering stuff online from Walmart's clearance helps too because online there is no real season as people have different weather and different needs everywhere.

We're in the south too. So we could actually wear the spring stuff in layers or take pullovers with us. Like you said the weather changes so quickly. I was laughing because my friend was complaining they got snow and with in two days their high was 74 degrees. It's a wonder more people don't stay sick this time of year.

That flip floppy weather drives me nuts. It's raining now and I don't even want to go out let alone put on something nice just to get wet.
