Headaches during pregnancy, what to do to calm them?

I was given a list of medications by kaiser of things I can and cannot take during pregnancy. The only medication it lists for headache help is Tylenol. What I would like to know is if any of you ladies out there found a different way besides medication to help calm headaches during your pregnancy? I have also tried a warm bubble bath but they just keep getting more painful the more I go on. I have talked to my doctor but she doesn't seem concerned as my blood pressure is normal. Any suggestions for relief?

While I was pregnant I didn't get sick on my stomach but the headaches were like migraines. I always used the coldest wash cloth I could stand on my forehead. This eased the pain. For some reason heat makes it worse. If you can put a wet cloth in the freezer or put ice cubes in a papertowel against your head when you have the headache. If you can try to shut your eyes while you are in a dark room. Light seems to trigger these nasty little boogers.

I just wanted to say that I know what you are going through . My migrains began when I was pregnant with my first child . I would lay still in a dark room, they were soo bad. That was when I was 21 , now I'm 54 and I still get a migrain about
once or twice a month. I would be sure to tell your doctor about your headaches.
Maybe he can give you adice . Good luck, I hope you find something that helps .

Thank you for the tips :) Yes hot water also makes my head worse, I think it has to do with sinus swelling during pregnancy that the hormones cause. I am trying the dim light and cold wash cloth right now and it seems to be helping. I have told my doctor of my headaches and they just dismiss them since I am healthy and don't have high blood pressure, but then again I have kaiser and while I love my doc I only see them once a month for 10 minutes tops to weigh in do blood pressure and get heart beat.
