You must be confused with the topic. This is the question being asked usually in the social networking websites. There would be a section where you need to answer the query about pets and the option would be 1.I have pets. 2.I don't have pets. 3.I enjoy watching them in Zoo. The first two are understandable but what is the meaning of the last one! Can't they have another option of 4.I enjoy watching them in forests. What is your choice? I would go for choice number 4!

I absolutely agree sanuanu! I have never enjoyed seeing animals in the zoo. I only went once with the school (years ago I must add) on a visit to London zoo and I was not at all happy to see all the animals in captivity. The same, or even worse, are the animals in the circuses. They are slaves to mankind and I find it so cruel to make them lead that sort of life. It would be fantastic to be able to go and see them in their natural habitat

The circus animals are worst than in Zoo. I don't know if they feed the animals before the act. I don't enjoy animal's act in circus. It doesn't matter because circust is now out of fashion and people are now more towards Disneylands and all. This way animals can get rid of circus jails!

Here circuses are still popular and especially in the summer months there are travelling circuses. They arrive in a town and stay a week then move on to the next one. Very sad for those animals

Here it is a crime if one is using animals in circuses. One of the reasons why circuses are not popular in our country.

You are right sanuanu, one of those common questions asking I usually come across is: what is the name of your pet animal? I haven’t seen any question with option of answers given. So I will give my own answer most of the time. Yeah, it I really come across such query about pets with the option, I would pick the second one. Well I don’t keep any pet animal at the present moment. I think I won’t watch them either in zoo or in forest. It is not worth to visit the zoo for the entrance fee is quite expensive. It is quite troublesome and dangerous to go to a forest alone, and I don’t think I could see the pet I wish there. And here I would like to add one. 5. I enjoy watching them in my friend’s house.

Of course I know that is only a procedure to pick the answers before registering as a member of most of the social network working websites. Lol you think I will as silly as to do all such things I have ticking in the options. I just try to suggest a practical and convenient option. Try to be friendly to all the pets when visiting your friends, so that these lovely pet cats and dogs at your friends keep will welcome you with open arms and legs lol ... Trust me, it’s true and really works.

LOL! The options didn't intend you to go see them either in forest or zoo. It was simply asking that if you don't want to have pets then would you like having them in zoo or forest. Indeed forests are too dangerous and entrance fee is quite expensive of zoo! Anyway, the last option would be great, enjoy watching them in friend's house. I won't go for that option too, as I am afraid of cats and dogs at my friend's home!

I know they can be friendly but I have had fear with pets(dogs sply) because they long and sharp nails and teeth. Only one of my friend had a pet, so, I don't have much time interacting with them. Guess, with more interaction only I can earn their respect!

Great! You are like me. I don't have allergies but I can't have a pet because I do think that they can hurt me anytime. I have had this phobia for last 15 years or so!

Well, for one thing. There aren't many forests around any city, so I guess your 4.1 wouldn't be considerable, and also, if it's really in a forest, you won't find the variety as if they're in a zoo. They'd be in hiding a lot when they're in a forest. I think the option 3.1 Clearly connotes the fact that there are some people who likes animals but wouldn't want to have the responsibility of taking care of them, that's why they'd rather see it in a zoo. As for me, I'd got for 3.1 I do have pets but the variety of pets you'd see in a zoo is just amazing. Plus, they're well taken cared of. Good luck!

Good points and I must give you a thumbs up from my side. You have valid points against your words and I don't want to contradict you but again I would like them in the forests as they can live with freedom. I don't care if I can't see them as they will be feeling great there wouldn't they?

I love animals, they can make you feel so good especially in hard and sad times. I just have to look into their eyes and I instantly forget my worries and adore their beautiful and innocent nature. I love my pets. I have two dogs and they mean so much because their love in unconditional and so special.

Yes, unconditional love but I am afraid of them. Once in my childhood one dog ran after me like anything. From that day, I have a dog Fobia so, I can't afford to have a dog pet. I don't like them at all!

Maintain G properly???? What is G? I understand your point and I also understand that they can be safe in zoos but Tigers and lions have the right to live freely and hunt for the food rather than getting it without any hardwork. In this way we would loose the beauty of lions and tigers one day!

I'm choosing the option of 4 too. Despite of that forest option an animal conservatory is also a good option for an endangered animal species. That's because nowadays forest animals also suffer from hunters and illegal lodging.

That is the only concern with forests. People would suggest that zoo is best for them because they have a danfer of getting hunted from us. But it is our responsibility to make them feel good and free at their natural home. I can also see people teasing zoo animals all the time. This is far worse situation than getting hunted at forests.

I would go for number 4 too. I like to see animals free much more than in captivity. I don't want to run across a lion or something like that but I'd rather see it from a disatance as see it in a cage.

So, you are also one of us who would like to see them in forests. Cool! Why don't we make a community for them on a social networking site. What about joining an animal saving community at facebook or orkut?

I have to go for the option 1 as I don't like pets. If there would have been the option which I mentioned then I would have to go for it. I love to see them in forests. Thanks for the complement. I would not have started this discussion if I didn't have the support from you guys.

Hello sanuanu, i don't have any pets but i like watching them in the zoo because there are animals that are harmful so at least i know that i am safe hehe...and also i would be able to know and familiarize each animals English/scientific name, the kind of food they eat and their habitat. And i know, the zoo caretaker provides good and right food for each of them.

yes, you would be safe at your home for sure. I can hear things that tigers are now attacking people in villages but don't you think that we are responsible for that. Why would they ever attack us if they will get their food in the forests! It is us who made them attack on us. I pray that they will feel safe in the zoos because people are still hunting them. ATleast they can survive in the zoos! Thanks a ton for the response. It was really nice having you here at my discussion!

Before, l got a few pet, hamsters and l was quite sad when saw them easily fall sick and unhealthy. Now, l don't have any pets anymore. l also likes to watch those animals living in their natural habitat. lt reminds me that animal also need freedom, same as human. Don't you agree?

I don't have pets, but i enjoy watching them in forests. I think if you want to have them , you should take care of them well,or just watching them in forests. And it's good for them.
