Does anyone here think too much to the point that you feel stuck in your head most of the time? I wonder if this is a symptom of some form of mental disorder?

I don't think it's an indication of a mental disorder, I think a person as such as you described is a person that deep thinks most things. I believe to think a lot signifies that the person is analytical and a critical thinker.

I don't think it's a mental disorder, but then again a lot of 'normal' things can be classified as disorders of some sort these days. I often find myself stuck in my own head. I'm a philosophy student, so often it's productive, and I truly feel that thinking about anything and everything is extremely positive and progessive. Don't worry about it, and feel absolutely free to share your thoughts or write them down :). That's how books, friendships, nations happen...it's all important :).

no it is not a mental disorder. it is just your brain doing an activity for long periods of time at high levels of thoughts. it is just like during a long test, your brain can become fatigue and tired. everyone has their "thing" that reflects their brain's personality

Do you think thinking is something we can control? Can we stop it? I don't think we can. If we're stuck inside our heads sometimes, and we all get that way now and then, it hardly seems like an aberration. Our minds can do wondrous things, and sometimes those things include grabbing our attention!

Sometimes I guess I think too much. I have this thing wherein I think of possible explanations of a certain interesting experience that has happened to me. There are times wherein my mind's already clouded of all the possible reasons I can think of and not one reason can satisfy me. It's like I'm trying to make sense of a certain event and it doesn't make any sense at all. I don't know, though, if this is some form of a mental disorder. Hope not.. :p

I think very much. I have habit of thinking on every issue that happens either in front of me or even eared sometime later. Every point of time there are many things going in my mind and I can't explain everything. But it is not any form of mental disorder. We have learned in Schools that "Man by nature is thinking animal." It means that it is our nature to think about different things.
