Now, i live in davao city, the largest administration city in the world. Hmmm... actually most people live in the central but not in the urban areas... i dont know why this city is very big, because most population is concentrated in downtown area... and when you leave the downtown, there will be less house and people... hmmm...
The city where i live now, is a very unique city, at 7pm, most of the stores are already closed, except the convenience store which is always open 24 hours. Malls are closed at 9pm... how sad...
tell me, how is the city or town do you live...

i am an indian and we are from andhra pradesh state in india and i now presently i am living in kuwait.here this country is too small and there will no other cities or states. just a small place only ,but a rich country because of oil producing country. this country is developing more from 10 years .now it is more developed and increasing there resources in all fields.here malls will close at 11pm and are convinient for us .as this country is muslims country ,in their festival season, the shops will remain till 2 pm .so we can shop at 12 or 2 pm also .really i like this time, but my husband will not allow me ,to shop at that time,as he should go to office next morning early.he wants to sleep early.

hi manya..i live in the same city as yours...its really where i grow up...its called the largest city in terms of land area ...not really concentrated in downtown area but in neighboring barangays in subdivisions and everything...those mostly who live in the downtown areas where the pioneer residents who were able to acquire land in the early 60's and some people who have business here downtown live in the same establishments they have business with ..which of course mostly Chinese... and located in the china town itself...

I live in Guangzhou, China, a city close to the cosmopolitan city Honk Kong. Guangzhou used to be called Canton and I prefer its old name. this city I think is famous for 'canton fair', the full name is called China import and export commodity trading fair. it is held twice a year. the local here speaks Cantonese. however, people from other places over the country keep moving to Guangzhou and they make up half of the population and nowadays you probably more people speak mandarin here. It is a very crowded city and a lot of traffic jams. The government here spending large amount of money into infrastructure but never make the best use of them. although there are a lot of modern buildings and more and more to be built, I don't consider it a modern city. the people here are not with high levels of civilization, for instance, a lot of people spit and litter in public place where they shouldn't. public hygiene is a total mess. you can easily find a lot of dog's waste matter on streets. It is a city with a lot of laws or regulations but only little of them are enforced or enforced only in a particular period of time.

Currently I live in Beijing for about 4 years. After I graduated from the university in my province I came to Beijing to work until now. Beijing is a beautiful city in China. There are lot of places of interests which attract a lot of people from all over the world.
Few cities in the world besides Beijing have served as the political and cultural center of an area as immense as China for so long. The Encyclopedia Britannica describes it as one of the world's great cities and declares that the city has been an integral part of China's history for centuries, and there is scarcely a major building of any age in Beijing that doesn't have at least some national historical significance. Beijing is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, and huge stone walls and gates. Its art treasures and universities have long made the city a center of culture and art in China.

I live in Quezon City and I must say it is the best city for me. Living here in QC is ideal because it's not as congested as other cities in Metro Manila and it still has a touch of greenery due to the numerous trees in it. It also has access to malls and other buildings of importance. Plus, majority of the stars are located here in QC.

Hi there manya_pearl!
I am from Baguio City. It is considered the Summer Capital of the Philippines. It has made its mark as a premiere tourist destination in the Northern part of the Philippines with its cool climate, foggy hills, panoramic views and lovely flowers. Baguio City is the melting pot of different peoples and cultures and has boosted its ability to provide a center for education for its neighbors. The city is at an altitude of approximately 1500 meters (about 5100 feet).

Hi manya_pearl,
Currently i live in Manila just walking distance to the office of president of the Philippines, Gloria Arroyo. In this building where i live tenants know if President is passing by as the the convoys buzzer were so loud.
Here in where i live, you can easily go to historical places in Intramuros, the old capital of Manila, it was built in 1571.
If you are craving for Chinese foods and stuff, you can reach China Town in 30-45 minutes to walk.
Also, in Luneta Park where monument of Dr. Jose P. Rizal located is just a walking distance like 30-45 minutes, in this park my kids loves playing here then we cross to other road and we reach Baywalk just along Roxas Boulevard...this is the best place to view the sunset. Baywalk, is a north shore of Chicago of the Philippines.
I like the place where i am currently living.

I live in Manila. I was born and grew up in this city. I have been almost everywhere here in Manila. Well, living in a city is not that nice though, I can't breathe fresh air.
At night, all the malls, offices and others should be closed by 10pm. Well, I don't know what to say, but I somewhat hate the city. Hehehe.

I live at Taiwan and it is great here. Nothing really happens here and I go to Taipei 101 very often. Malls usually close at 11 and most of the population are concentrated in downtown. Good thing about here is taht like you said, convenient stores are always 24/7. Whenever I cannot sleep that night, I would go down stairs and grab some food, as I live just right above a 7-11 store.

I am from the city that never sleeps. I am from New York City. I love my city! I love everything about New York. From the stores being open all night long. from there being great places to eat no matter what time day or night. i love that there are all kinds of people here. you can see all kinds of different people every where you turn. I love that it is so easy to travel becuase of the busese and trains. of course there are things that i would like to change like the crime rate, and health care for those who need it and other things. but this is my city, and I love it

I live in Hamilton Parish, a small parish in Bermuda. Even though the capital of Bermuda is Hamilton, my parish is 35 minutes drive from the capital. It is very beautiful since we are surrounded the sea on both side. In Bermuda you cna drive from one tip of the island to the other in an hour or less depending on the road traffic, so that is a good thing.

I live In ShangHai, one of the biggest cities in China,Iam not native people...
But I don't like ShangHai,I like BeiJing better than ShangHai,Beijingers have superior quality than Shanghainess, really, for example, one day,my friend knocked down
an old lady before the gate of a big shopping mall here, the old lady is a Shanghainess, she was not hurt at all and she is fine....after all at that time what my friend was using is just a bike....but the old lady sat down on the ground and asked my friend to pay her money, then my friend said she didn't take money with him,can you guess what did the old lady say? She asked my friend if he has an account and she could go with him to withdraw money ....at last, the old lady sat on the back of my friend's bike, they went to the bank and withdrawled the money together, the old woman charged my friend 300RMB,then left happily...then this also happenned on our foreign manager one day ....
