I really hate rude people in customer service jobs. If I have to smile and be nice to them at my job, then they better smile and be nice to me at theirs. One problem is that Walmart is not picky about who they hire. All they need is a warm body working that cash register. They don't much care whether the person is nice or not. Also, they do treat their employees badly. If they make one person mad enough to quit, there are ten more willing to take that one's place, especially now. So basically you have someone who isn't at the top of their game, who is also unhappy at their job, and only holding onto it because it's better than the unemployment line. I do try to cut them a little slack for that... However, if I receive REALLY bad customer service (like it seems you did), I make sure to let a manager know. If you don't let someone in charge know, then they never know there's a problem, and the person continues being rude with no consequences. If enough people complain, then the person either starts being nice, or they face that dreaded unemployment line while Walmart fills their shoes with someone who knows how to smile.

Wow, I'm amazed a manager would treat you that way... Basically though, everyone has a boss, and if the service was bad enough, I'd find out who theirs is. That's just me though. I cut children's hair for a living, and so I always have to smile and be patient, no matter how rough my day is going. Even when they jerk their head and make me cut myself, I smile and tell them I'll be right back. Anyway,I have heard of reflexology. In fact, I was at a metaphysical expo yesterday, and picked up some brochures on reflexology classes. It sounds pretty interesting. Do you make a good living at it? I'm looking to change careers :)
