Have you ever gotten a gift card and had trouble deciding what to spend it on?
Recently, I got a 'coupon code' for $25 at amazon.com! This was a reward that I selected for doing some various online activities (surveys, 'paid to' click, etc.) at a site that gives you points to be redeemed for a variety of gift cards. Normally, I use my earned points to 'purchase' a gift card to take my family out to dinner. This time, I decided to go for the amazon.com credit.
Well, the code arrived in the mail the other day and I immediately logged in to my amazon.com account to register it. Now, a couple of days later and still the $25.00 sits in my account waiting for me to spend it.
When I first decided to get that reward, I had some things in mind that I wanted to buy. Now that I have it, my need or desire for those things has dwindled and I don't know what to buy! My amazon.com purchases usually consist of books, DVDs, or CDs/MP3s so that is what I am focusing on. I have a lot of books waiting to be read, so I am not too interested in buying more books right now. As for DVDs or CDs, I just can't seem to settle on any. I have gone through my amazon.com recommendations several times, but nothing is really jumping out at me.
So, have you ever had a similar problem? Just not knowing what to spend your gift card on?

I know the feeling lol I would have a hard time trying to find something to buy on amazon.com since they have so much stuff. But knowing me I probally would use the twenty five dollar coupon to save on a videogame I really want which ive done in the past. Or use it to buy a movie ive been dying for thats pretty much how I would spend my coupon.

Yeah, isn't it funny how a larger selection just makes it harder to decide! the funny thing is that I had about $12.00 worth of stuff already loaded into my shopping cart ready for purchase. In the time that it took to get the certificate, I decided that I didn't need the things I had selected. The funny thin is that the reason that I chose to get the $25.00 reward was so that I could buy those things in the first place!
