To be honest ,i would like to choose English as my second language because I think it is now a very strong language for people from non-English -speaking countries .
I could remember clearly what I was used to be when I first study English.I make lots of giant mistakes .I still feel so shy when I recalled these things.
Now I keep on listening to BBC VOA CBS every day ,and I never feel tired .I now gradually understand learning English is so fun and I am really into it !
hope you will make lots of progress in the future .

Hi, My first language is Spanish, and English is my second language, because the use I make of it, I do speak French, but since I do not use it as much as English I feel I am kid of losing it. It gets hard to speak and write when you do not practice. My advice to you is "Practice", read, and just have fun learning. Do not feel bad when you are correct, think that you are lucky someone is taking the time to teach you,and for free. Good luck!

I speak another language and it is Spanish. I would like to learn others but haven't started yet. I think there is always something to learn within the languages we speak..keeps me busy..I think my next one would be Arabic or French. I use my Spanish everyday and don't think I would have the oppurtunity to use the others near as much but it would still be fun to learn.

I am fluent in English and Filipino so somehow I have a second language already, English. But there was a time I studied Chinese because I believe Mandarin is also widely used and I want to learn the language. But honestly, I find it was a very difficult language to learn. Now, I want to learn how to speak Spanish instead. There are actually some Filipino words derived from Spanish and we also use some Spanish words because the Philippines was once under the Spanish.

Undoubtedly it is hard for anyone when they are at the beginning of learning some kind of foreign language, and i think english should not be the most difficult one.
just hold on and fight through the most trying part in the long road,
only after making that through you will finally master it.
