Pets and their owners are just like married couples they grow to look like each other and to have similar personalities and they get more alike over time, according to a professor of the university in UK, he surveyed almost 2500 pet lovers about their characters and those of their pets. He discovered that the longer animals had been with their owners, the more likely they were to share similar traits. all animals have not just intelligence but personality. study between a human and another animal in current revealing that dogs have personalities and these character traits can be identified as accurately as personality attributes in humans. He found people who have dogs believe they are cheerful and fun-loving, while cat lovers consider themselves dependable and sensitive. Fish owners are apparently the most contented, while those who keep reptiles are the most independent.

well pets are the closest thing to another human. some people are just so attached to their animals that they treat pets as humans. it is probably since animals also display a sense of emotion to their owners
