Has anyone ever had sclerotherapy done in the foot?????

I have a few spinder veins on my foot from my last pregnancy. I was due mid Aug. and my foot was the size of a balloon for 4 months! Anyway, I went to see a dr. to have them injected and he said they don't like to inject the foot because it's near main arteries. He said he can do it, he just needs to be careful not to inject to much. Of course now im extremly nervous and would like to know if anyone out there has had their foot injected.
