When we are young and our eyesight is strong, we see everything and take it all for granted. After we get older and get our first pair of glasses we begin to appreciate our sight. We begin see others who are without eyesight for the first time. Sight is a wonderful gift, and with it everything is Beautiful. Without it all is dark and life is a Mystery. There are none so blind, as those who Won't see!

nature is most beautiful. the sunrise, its golden rays that give warmth to all, the colourful flowers dancing with the soft wind, butterflies fluttering arround them and chirping birds all are beautiful. they fill the atmosphere with a vibrance. then the sun set, fall of dusk, the tranquility of the moon and the twinkling stars are the real deffinition of beauty.

Well I do think it is in the eye of the beholder. I mean I look at my friends and their husbands and I am not attracted to them because they are not beautiful to me. My friends don't think my husband is that good looking but he is just beautiful to me and it is just not about appearance. I know him inside and out and I love who he is.

...for me the 'eye' is not only the sighted eye but the minds eye. Beautiful to me can be anything that invokes a strong feeling or sensation - one that when you see or feel or hear something it makes the breath in your throat catch for an instant as you take it in and all of a sudden you close your eyes for a moment to imprint whatever it is into your mind to have allways.
