I have decided to quit drinking soda. This includes any carbonated drink. Well, except for the occasional beer. I am going to be drinking water more often. This is because I think it will make me feel better. I believe I read somewhere that cutting the high carb drinks from your diet will help lose 10lbs in about a month. If this is true, then Im gonna lose weight just by not drinking soda. Do you drink alot of soda, or have you followed the health craze and switched to juices and water.

I used to drink Mountain Dew like it was going out of style. I can't even begin to tell you how much Mtn. Dew I went through in a given day...it was terrible. Anyways, about 10 months ago, I stopped drinking the Dew and started drinking water. At first it was hard, because of the major caffeine withdrawals....I had the worst headaches ever. Now, I don't even miss the caffine. I also lost about 13-15 pds...no complaints in that department. My friends tell me all the time my skin seems somehow rosey. I also have much more energy believe it or not.

first very good that you have decided to give up soda... it is a healthier choice to drink it less. I can go with or without soda since I probably buy 3 2liters of Mt. Dew in a week, and they last me all week. I have only a glass a day, along with fruit juice in the mornings, and I am doing more water during the day too... at least 1 or 2 glasses... I am trying to do better and get in my water but it will be easier to do so in the summer.

I always drink plenty of water, generally because it is the only thing that quenches my thirst. Water is the best thing for your body. It helps all of your body systems to run smoothly.
