What's your favorite cruise line?

I've only been on Royal Carribean and Carnival cruises, but I was surprised that I like Carnival a lot better. I always have thought of Carnival as the cheapy cruise line, but from my experience Carnival is far superior to Royal Carribean. The food is better, the entertainment is better, and the wait staff is better. Also the spa and casino were better on all the Carnival cruises I've been on. I think I've been on five Carnival cruises counting one I went on many, many years ago when I was in high school, and all of them were great--no problems at all. The one Royal Carribean cruise I went on we missed being able to get off the boat at one of our destinations due to weather. That can't be avioded, but I seems they should have compensated us in some way. And the food on Royal Carribean really was subpar. But I did get my teeth whitening at the spa on Royal Carribean and that was cool. Many of the spa staff were South African and friendly, so that part was good.

I had been on Star Cruises, Super Star Virgo covering Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. It was so exciting to be on a cruise. The facilities, food, comfort and everything was amazing. I had once booked a Royal Caribbean cruise but had to cancel it due to last minute program changes. Since I have been only on Star Cruises, this is my favorite cruise line.

If I went on a cruise I would be more interested in the destination visited rather than the company of the cruise liner. I would choose a cruise that goes to Cartagena de Indies and a few of the islands of the Caribbean. The cruise would not need to be luxurious and a cheap style cruise would be fine for me. I am glad that you enjoyed the cruises that you went on.
