Atrue friend is one that is human and can make mistakes but own up to them....can be honset , loyal, attentive when needed, someone who knows when to back off when its that time and always be there to the best of thier ability when they can ...and most importantly someone who loves you, no matter what you do wrong...

A good friend is honest, caring, helpful, not too much to look for in a good friend. Of coarse it would have to be vice versa, why have a friend if you can't be a friend back right??

A good friend is something very special. They are honest and trustworthy, they never betray your secrets and defend you if anyone says anything bad about you. They make you laugh when you are sad, and they are there when you want to talk. They are positive and let you know that you can get through anything with a little help. Good friends are very special and rare, they don't just happen, the most important thing is that you need to cultivate your friendship, take time for them, friendship is not a one way thing. If you have a really good friend that is always there for you, make sure you tell them how much you value their friendship.

Honesty, loyalty, dependability. I feel a person is truely my friend when they love me enough to tell me what I want to hear as well as what I don't want to hear. One who is willing to work through any disagreement we may have and move on.
