Using the internet has become part of most people's daily routine. I use it every single day for personal and work use. How about you? How many hours do you usually spend per day using the internet?

Sometimes I spend an hour or two a day online, sometimes I tend to spend far more time online especially if I have a lot of stuff to do online. However, sometimes I just don't have a lot to do and I'd rather spend my time online because I really don't want to do much of anything else. Really, my days vary on what I have to do and what I want to do.

I'm guessing you just go with the flow. I do know what you mean as sometimes it just depends on what sort of general mood I am in.

I spend a lot of time on the net.Normally about six hours a day maybe more, but I make sure I have a day off as repetive injury is no joke plus there are other things that must be done.

The pain in your finger is probably a bit of strain if I were you give your self a rest especially your hand with the bad finger or it will spread right through your hand and up your arm and boy is that painful a couple of days should do it.rub some heat rub into your hand .I also used a support bandage for my arm and it did help, learn the warning signs don't be like me and ignore the signs .keep well.xx

Have you experienced any form of repetitive injury from the computer? I sometimes feel a really annoying pain in one of my typing fingers.

It depends on what season it is. If it's winter I spend too too much time online, as I'm not a kid anymore and don't care for the snow and cold ect ;) But we are warmng up now so it's better to be outside doing things with the kids. I dunno how many hours probably 3, not constantly or anything, I do other things inbetween with the kids and everyday things. It just gets too boring being a SAHM in these 4 lovely walls day in & out.

I understand. Sometimes, depending on what I am using the internet for I can find it quite relaxing whilst at other times I will get sick of it and need a serious break!

Thats quite a short time considering you do an online job. Does the 1 hour include the work that you do?

I agree it has become a part of most people's daily routines, and it has for me aswell, i normally come on my laptop everyday for atleast a little while, like before i go out anywhere and things. I can also keep in contact with my friends and family through messenger, which is great, instead of having to use my phone bill up all the time lol, i like earning money on here, and going on forums and things, messenger/msn is the ultimate thing i go on, when im on the laptop.

I am not sure that I even get online for an hour anymore. I am working lots of hours at work, and no time for internet when I am at work.

It is definitely hard when you have a fulltime job. I am guessing you work does not involve internet use in that case

I spend at least 7hours a day and maximum of 10 hours. I used to spend more time before but I had to cut it down by making our home internet free. He he he! Aside from saving, it also makes each one of us spend time with each other rather than just doing our own thing.

Thats a good point. Using the internet is very much an isolated activity that can rarely be shared with people around you. It's nice that you use the extra time to spend it with 'real' human beings!

As my current job often necessitates surfing the net quite frequently, I would have to say perhaps 3 or more hours a day. I would like to reduce my net surfing activity, though, since I feel that my eyes are almost always a bit strained after spending quite a considerable amount of time on the Internet. Stay active and Happy myLotting, UK_Shree!

Thanks for your post acmepride! I know what you mean. Even though we are not physically exerting ourselves by using the computer it can be really tiring to spend so much time watching a computer screen.

I spend way too much time on the internet but it's not for fun, it's to work. I write and I research for that writing. I myLot, I do surveys, I look for a job, etc. Too much time!! I've begun making myself watch a movie at least an hour a day to get away from the internet, I play with my dogs every hour or so and I go outside at least every other hour. Otherwise I'd stay here on the computer 16 hours a day.

I completely understand. Sometimes it can get a bit too much. I sometimes have a break of a whole day in which I do not use the computer at all!

Hi, UK_Shree! If I have the time and a decent Internet connection, then I will be on the Internet about 8 hours a day.. If I have more free time, I may spend about 12 hours at times too. But since, I have been on this WiFi connection, I will be on the Internet about 2 hours, the max.. Sometimes it can be longer depending on the signal and frequency..

Hi there cream97! That must be very frustrating. I remember when I was having wireless issues with my old laptop. I got fed-up of trying and didn't the use the internet for personal use for around a week!

There are days I am online about twelve hours working on here, doing research, writing, surveys, PTPs, social networking, banking, emails friends and associates, and playing an occasional game. Then there are days I am on for four or five. Not very many of those. I am never on for along stretch usually 4 or five at a time. It is all good. I enjoy it thoroughly.

Yeah definitely a good idea to take break. And yes I know what you mean - there is always something to do on the internet which makes the time fly by!

I am trying to make the most out of my earnings here on mylot so I will usually spend up to 12 hours give but mostly take, lol. I'm trying to get into a routine where I don't spend as much time on here as that, but I'm also waiting to see what the Mylot tasks are and how helpful they will be to earning online.

That's alot of time! Do you spend all of the 12 hours on this website?? If so I's be really curious so see how much you earn as a result of putting in that much time?
