Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm 64?

Do you remember that song? And, now Paul himself is approaching that magical number, minus the person I have always assumed he wrote that for. But....here's one woman who doesn't need ANYONE to do for her! She is astounding!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkHvRCp3z5A Isn't that amazing?? I can't even do that now and couldn't 10, even 20 years ago, and she's 87!!! Putting the rest of us to shame, she is! What are we going to do about it? What are YOU going to do about it? I think I need to do something. She's 87, Paul McCartney is turning 64 and Larry Miller, owner of the Utah Jazz just died at age 64 from Type 2 Diabetes complications - a medical issue I myself deal with. So, what am I going to do about her showing us it can be done??? I need to lose weight, first and foremost. What about you? What do you need to do to even have a halfway chance to be as active as she is at her age??? Let us know.

Holy moly--she must have been dancing like that most of her life to still be active and dancing like that at her age now. LOL--I could stand to lose a bit of weight..my legs are thin and so are my arms, but it's like all my weight goes to my mid-section, of course maybe cause I sit on my butt a bit too long in front of the computer...LOL

Thanks..LOL...yup I had known about that...the person actually had the nerve to show up in one of my discussions and believe me was confusing a LOT of people...it's the copy cat impersonator who usually uses the original person's avatar and name with only a minor spelling difference...I've been "copied" four times already

The fake pyye appears to have been wiped out. They no longer have a profile page. It's been 404'd. I've yet to actually witness this myself, but as many people as are saying it, I know it's happening. I have to wonder why, though. Just what do they get from it except canceled accounts?

I defintiely need to lose weight myself. I am going to try to do so so that I can live a longer healthier life. I will also try to keep my boyfriend healthy as he is older and I would like him to live up to his longest potential life. He does not take very good care of himself and he needs encouragement to do so.

I've got so much weight to lose, but I'm also a stress eater, so during times of stress, I'm going for comfort. And, comfort is usually carbs, which is the LAST thing I should have. But, I need to do something. Mom outlived everyone in the family, even with emphysema, so I should strive for a longer healthier life myself!

actually, John wrote the words, when they were both quite young and only later did they put it to music and Linda was no where in Paul's mind at the time.

Not according to John: "When I'm Sixty-Four" is a love song by The Beatles, written by Paul McCartney[1][2] (but co-credited to John Lennon) and released in 1967 on their album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It is sung by a young man to his lover, and is about his plans of growing old together with her. Although the theme is about aging, it was one of the first songs McCartney wrote, when he was sixteen.[1] The Beatles used it in the early days as a song they could play when the amplifiers broke down or the electricity went off.[3][4] Both George Martin and Mark Lewisohn speculated that McCartney may have thought of the song when recording began for Sgt. Pepper in December 1966 because his father turned 64 earlier that year.[3][4] Lennon said of the song, "Paul wrote it in the Cavern days. We just stuck a few more words on it like 'grandchildren on your knee' and 'Vera, Chuck and Dave' ... this was just one that was quite a hit with us."[5] In his 1980 interview for Playboy he said, "I would never even dream of writing a song like that."[2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/When_I'm_Sixty-Four Although it does appear the song did pre-date Linda.
