I don't feel like employers should have access to your background past 2 years unless the offense charged involves children or violence and then I think that should be limited to 5 years if no other offenses have occurred. Does anyone have an opinion on this subject?

Hello, Me beeing the young rebel i am, or used to be i think it should depend on the severity of the crime, me personally were one of those skating punks doing grafitti and you know pissing off people in general, i have had things on my record which denied me a couple of summer jobs, and thinking about it i guess it worked, i didnt have money to get around to do all the above mentioned things so it kept me out of trouble

It might have worked this time, but what about when your maybe older and really need the income and can't because our society is so unforgiving on issues?
