What are the elements of enjoying life? Is it friends or money or family? Different people might have different ideas. And how does one make full use of his/her life? Also to mysdianait, if you happen to read this. Thanks for your advice regarding my previous post if you still remember. The "Just wondering.." Also, to the people at myLot. I'm truly sorry. I might have overlooked the guidelines. :)

I totally agree with most on here, that family come first. And friends, well who would be without them. But having money is not always a bad thing. It depends what you have chosen to do with it. If your not interested in flash cars, holidays, boats and mansions, then there are many ways in which a lot of money can benefit your friends, family and other people and creatures on this planet. Imagine how many you can help with a little extra.

At least you're honest about it. I think you would probably take great pleasure in buying, say, a new car for your brother or sister, a house for your mom or a big holiday for all the family. Wouldnt that make you feel good?

Yeah, you're definitely right about that. But I don't think many people will do that. I, myself, don't think I'll do that if I were rich one day. So I don't think I wanna be too rich. Just enough would be great. Else I forget myself.. :) Just an honest opinion.

Imagine that you have everything in the world you want - a fast car, a mansion, the latest video games, tons of money...it's fun to fantasize. Everybody does it. But problems arise when the "I-want-to" feelings takes control of your life. Instead think of the thing you already have. There is never ending to human wants and I would rather live a simple life with food on my table and a shelter over my head. I'll be contented with what I have and live a simple life.

Great advice! Yeah. Happiness is all in the mind. If you aren't happy with what you already have, you'll never be happy. :)

First of all I wanted to tell you Azhfran that this is a great post :-) a great subject to think about. The elements of a fullfilled life are different for everybody. For me my family and friends are for sure the biggest part of my happyness, but also I would love to work with something that made my heart happy. Till now I still couldn´t. I am starting to write paid posts and making money on my own without having a boss makes me feel great. This is a way for me to make life more enjoyable. But I am still with my day completely empty and trying to figure out how to fullfill it. Also a relationship with a nice person would help things out. Well... I think that´s it.

hello, to tell you the truth, this post wasn't exactly supposed to be a post. It was just something that I was thinking about. And then my fingers suddenly just moved and next thing I know, it's posted. Seriously.. Anyways, I'm sure you'll find something to make you happy one day. For the moment, just be happy that you are in the myLot community.. :)

I think the elements in enjoying life varies from person to person. Some may put money on top of their list while it could be their family for the others. Some, who are alone all their life may find solace and enjoyment from their friends. Others may find satisfaction in life from work. The real element on how to enjoy life are the non material things.

I believe that living your life is when you don't put something off until tomorrow, or find an excuse for why you shouldn't do something you really want to do. After you've done that for a while, you can say " look at the time I've waisted". I am guilty of that, but since the new year I'm feeling more like a "chance taker", instead of living inside my preconceived notion of security. My outlook is brighter that something great will be happening for me soon, probably because I will welcome it.

hi pricelis, I can see that you'll have a great future. Optimists always do! Good for you and I wish you all the best in whatever chance or risks you are taking. Life is always full of risks, and if you never fail, you'll never succeed. And happy mylotting to you too! ;)

I know it is different for everyone. But for me it is my family and friends. Jobs are important so you can provide for your family. I live life with what makes me happy and going home after a long days work to my husband and kids makes everything I do during the day totally worth it. They make my life happier and better. I could not imagine my life without them.

Family and friends comprise my life. A simple dinner/lunch with them, great talk, laughter. That's the best. If I had the money, then better! Why not! Though it's not really THAT important. We can make the most of what we have with friends and family around...

Hi zahfran! We are all allowed to make a mistake here and there in every sector of life and as long as we learn by them then all will be well. For my to enjoy my life I put good health first and foremost. Good health both for myself, my family and my friends. As long as I have just enough money to cover the running expenses of life then I'm happy. I have never wanted to be rich or even have 'a lot' of money. I am quite happy knowing that the taxman is running after others and not bothering about me. If I can wake up in the morning knowing that we are all ok healthwise and are not struggling financially then anything else that happens is bound to make me happy. Anything at all from a simple phone call to .... whatever! If all news is good news and people have a smile on their face, I'm happy. Happy Lotting zahfran and keep having fun!

Hello.. Yes, I totally agree with you. Good health is the most important. Glad that you are happy. Guess everybody on myLot should be happy people. Cuz we are in a great community! Having fun and gaining knowledge. And meeting great friends at the same time. I simply can't wait for my star. 15 more to go! To get the bolds and italics and underlines.. haha.. seems so fast.. Happy mylotting to you too. :) For now I have to content with this :) hahaha

I put the family at first place. Then some good friends are necessary.Of course, much more money will make my life more comfortable. But I think I can live a happy life as long as the money is enough to provide my daily life.I also believe that People live a more important spiritual life than material life.

All of the things youo mentioned are of great importance to enjoy life. If I must tell which one is the most important, I think personal relationship is much more important than the material one. Family and friends usually are my treasures always.

I have a different attitude toward this, I dont think money or material gains can make u enjoy life or be happy. I take life as it unfolds, I am a firm believer that life is a journey and not a destination. You should happen to enjoy every moment of life. And beleive me when i say every moment of life can be enjoyed.Recently I started making videos with my cell, and after I hav loaded them in my computer and saw those videos, I found out that even the mundane of mundane events also has its significance. Thats how i feel......... nyways these are just my views.Just Live ur life to ur fullest

Zahfran, I think it would have to be family or friends or both. Life would be a lonely place with out them. I know some people don't have any family so and their case it would friends even if it's online friends or discussion sites like this one. As for money I am not really sure, I do know money is needed for survival because, we would not be able to live with out it. However some people have lots of it and are not happy.

Yea.. Money ain't everything. I have yet to meet someone who has really lots of money and is happy. But I've seen people with no money and they are happy. It's all in the mind actually. Money don't really makes the world go round as they say. Having enough money to survive would be good. Having too much will make you want more and more and you'll never be satisfied or happy. :)
