I was just awarded my first freelance writing project. Its going to be a little intense though. 100 articles in 14 days. All on the subject of hemroids. I felt that I had to take the tough jobs and start getting the rating so I can soon make the real big bucks. By the way I got the gig from elance.com

That's great, it's really a very big project. Wish your creative juice flow and words come easily. This is a really huge project. Guess all the good paying jobs will come once you proved your worth.

Hi, great you are awarded the project, but real challenge in terms of work volume. A good beginning is half done. You believe in the saying? For a promising writing career, better not take it lightly. The readers won't care how long it takes you to finish the articles, but will focus on the quality. Do not let tight time limit as an excuse, but do best to make your articles as subjected for journalism awards. Aim at the first prize, without any regret in the future.

Yes, I have been in contact with my client on this and expressed my concern over the time frame. He mentioned that it is more important that the articles are good quality. I will be putting my best foot forward and writing to win more projects.

Oh, I hate to say it, but cannot resist the pun. That job sounds like a real pain in the a$$. Good luck, sincerely, that's a lot of writing to do in a very short period of time. Be sure to post a discussion when you are done about what the experience was like. And how working with Elance turned out. Good luck!

No problem. This might turn into a big pain in the a$$. At the same time I feel I can research and right a good article in an hour. So, this is like a 50 hour a week job. I will post how it went and working with eLance went also. Thanks for posting

If you don't mind my asking, how much are they paying for the job?

I have no idea if you are still hanging around MyLot or not, I am not here very often, but do come around every now and again and still get memos when people comment on my discussions. I was just wondering if you are still at Elance. I started this past month and have gotten three jobs. Two look like they will bring additional work. It has gone better then I thought and am not a little overwhelmed since we are moving...but I was wondering if you were still at Elance, how is it going? Are you making money worth talking about? Do you recommend Elance to others looking for freelance work?

Congrats! on earning that writing assignment. You can get more by writing quality content. Reseach and get to the writing mode? How many word articles are you writing?

I wish you every success with your 100 articles. I don't think I could possibly write 50 in a week, unless they were very short articles. I usually write around 500-600 words per article. Medical topics require good research and validated sources, otherwise it could be dangerous to pass on incorrect information. That means they take more time to research than some topics. I hope you enjoy working on your project, and do let us know how you succeeded.

Hello friend I need to know that because I want to earn also. I joined hubpage but I found it so hard....how did you do that? Can you share to me?

Good luck with your writing!! That is alot of articles to get through. I too and applying for jobs through elance and offering my services for a low amount in order to get positive rating. You have to start off small to end up with the high paying jobs. I know there are many people who make hundreds of dollars off elance a month just for working part time so it can be done. Good luck, and keep us well informed.

Congrats on the job! I wish you luck. I don't think that I could for the life of me come up with 100 articles on the subject of hemroides. Haha. But, I guess it's the the difficulty of such a job that will prove your worth! Good luck!
