I am, specially when there is a queue behind me while I go and get my money. I also make sure to count the money I just withdrawn and make sure it is the exact amount before I leave the ATM booth. So are you ever cautious when withdrawing from ATMs, and do you do make sure you have the right amount before leaving the booth?

Yeah, almost everyone will count their money when they withdraw money from ATMs. People are always cautious with things that they think are valuable.

Hi brady2moss. Yes I am, who isnt? I always make sure to cover my hands while I am typing the pincode. I am not comfortable while i am withdrawing through ATMs so if ever I have time to go to the bank, I prefer to withdraw on ATMs inside of it. I also count my money before I leave. Happy mylotting!

Hey there jhoannejoj! Well to be honest, most locals here in Singapore are really careless when withdrawing their money from ATMs. Sometimes I can see what their ATM pins are, just by standing a few feet behind them. Most if not all of them won't ever bother counting the money they just withdrew, completely opposite to what we do. Thanks for responding.

I am cautious when using an atm machine. I always cover the pad with my hand when entering my pin just in case some one is around or if a camera is installed somewhere. I wait til I go home to count the money though since I don't want displaying bills in public.

Yeah, I mean there it's better to be cautious than regret it later. I stay away from withdrawing money at night, unless it is a convenient spot.
