do you suffer from migraine? what triggers it? recently i've been using this locally made shampoo that has a scent similar to the one made by a big company. now, this big company's shampoo's scent really triggers my migraine. the locally made slightly scented shampoo i've been using seems to be doing the same and had been causing my migraines for several days. it didn't happen at once. i tried it for several days first and when i thought it was fine i bought another bottle for reserve. i thought of shifting shampoos first to see if the headaches would dispapper. they did. i also notice that the scent of a local body spray made by a local company triggers my migraine. likewise, too bright computer screens do the same. i have mine dimmed. what about you?

I do sympathise with you. I also get migraines, really frequently. They're so frequent that I'm not able to hold down a job so I ended up having to get a disability payment. Bright lights also trigger mine, especially flashing lights. And like you some scents also trigger mine, particulary I find very sickly sweet smells, like overpoweringly sweet perfume, and also some other smells like paint fumes or petrol. I have lots of food triggers - dairy, particularly eggs, nuts, avocado. (All the foods I like lol.) Also too much caffeine, or less caffeine than usual. I get them if i don't drink enough water and get dehydrated. Also changes in the weather cause them for me. My worst migraines by far though are the day before my period - those are the killers lol.

i have a feeling that you also fed on lactose free milk when you were young. i read somewhere that sensitive people like us were mostly the ones who need this form of milk when they were young.

I didn't actually have many allergies as a child, they all seemed to develop in my teens after suffering from a long illness. I do have lots of allergies now - really bad hayfever etc. Actually I had allergy tests done with a Chinese Medicine practitioner a few years back and the only thing he tested for that I WASN'T allergic to, out of about 30 things tested for, was dog hair. Lol

I suffer from migrains for a couple of years now. I don't think I've ever came across a shampoo or conditioner that triggers them. I'm a college student so I get them especially around finals time, I also get them from lack of sleep.

stress triggers your migraine. so, i guess you had one or would about to have one with the finals coming up. what do you take for your migraine? but i guess yours is worse because i can't imagine taking an exam and having terrible headaches.

i do have migraine. I can't remember any shampoo or conditioner that affects it thought. I noticed that my migraine is being triggered by lack of sleep, too much coffee and too much exposure in the sun. That's why even if I love the beach so much, I really can't spend much hours under the sun.

lol. my migraine is also triggered by lack of coffee not over caffeine. guess, it's different for you. in my case besides scents, sudden sunlight hitting my eyes or too bright lights trigger it. just like you. :)
