Dreams...are they just that? or can they be something else?

Land of Dreams - Dreams can take shape in many different ways. They can appear as every day life or they can be twisted and full of strange things.

Have you ever had a dream that somehow came true? Is that even possible? Can they serve as warnings as to what lies ahead?I remember when I was pregnant with my little girl. It was around the time of 9/11. I had the hardest time sleeping because my daughter was kicking hard that night and I kept having this recurring dream of fireman burning alive. Finally, I gave up on trying to sleep and turned on the tv to try and calm my baby and my mind. When I hit the local news channel, I saw the second plane hit the towers in NYC. I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't still asleep. Did my baby dream what I was dreaming? Was what I dreamed just coincidence or a warning of what I would see? Tell me about your dreams. Do you believe that dreams are just silly little thoughts which occur while we sleep or are they more than that? Please, no bashing here. Let's keep this pleasant. Livy J

I've had 2 dreams that came true. Neither were as significate as yours, but they did come true almost exactly as I dreamed them.

I've also had other dreams that were not as significant. That one was just the one that scared me the most. I think that it is a gift when you can dream like that. However, it may seem like a curse at times when the dream is something so horrific and there is no way to stop it from happening...or is there? Livy J

well, one dream did help turn what could've been a bad thing into an amusing thing - I dreamed on the day that the birthday party for November Birthdays was held, there was nothing I could eat (and I was one of the 2 November birthdays.) I woke up so angry, I went and got myself something to eat before going to work - and then it was true - nothing I could eat.

That is definitely an amusing thing! LOL. I like that one. I think my favorite one would be when I had a dream about my little girl while I was pregnant with her. I mean it was my first trimester but somehow I knew and saw it in a dream. It kinda became this running joke between me and my husband. He would bring me blue flowers with little notes that would say, "It's a boy!" and I would leave him pink flowers or little pink, rose scented notes saying, "It's a girl!" We were so weird. I loved being pregnant. LOL Livy J
