Do you comment on all the responses you received from the discussion you have started?
I make it a point to give comments on every response that I get from all the discussion I have started. However, with the slow dial up connection I had beofre, it took me many hours just to finish commenting on one discussion and I couldn't give comments to all. Now that I am using a broadband, I have every reason to finish that task. I love reading the responses and commenting to it is a pleasure. It's also my way of saying thank you to all mylotters who gave their precious time to read the discussion I have started. I am not yet done with the task of commenting but I am assuring everyone that I appreciate all your responses.
Thank you very much for responding to all my discussions. I really appreciate it.
Happy mylotting.

Yes I comment on all the responses. I feel that those who respond deserve my comment for having spared time to visit my discussion. It is not a discussion unless I get back to them too. Then sometimes, usually very often, they respond to my comment and we start a discussion inside the main discussion itself.
Unless I have commented to all of them I don't usually start new discussions either.
Happy Lotting with your new faster connection!

I wonder why other mylotters don't dare to comment on the responses they get from the discussion they have started. I love the different opinions that I get. Thanks for responding.

I also responded to a discussion like that. The discussion igniter thought that the comments do not count. Even if I spend the whole day commenting on the responses I have received, I still earn. Thanks for responding.

for sure I do
at least one every response
I know some people don't think it's necessary because it doesn't bring them money
but I do that anyway
only if it becomes lengthy conversation sometimes I don't always add to it

That's what they think. But I still get an increase of my earnings just by commenting to the responses.

I try to go through and give responses to every comment that someone leaves. Sometimes even the third and fourth comment from the same person after we've gone back and forth for several days. The only time I don't comment is when someone leaves one sentence that doesn't even make sense or has nothing to do with the original question.

Well every little bit helps right? I mean if we're all here to make money doesn't it make sense to help each other?
That's what irritates me on sites, especially when I'm over on gather commenting. There are some over there that I guess feel like they can't make it through the day without going through and leaving "drive by" negative ratings

I try as much as I can to reply ti all the responses that I get. But sometimes it runs into more than 30 and it is really difficut to respond to every single one of them. If I am online and active, I could reply to them in real time. However after I sleep and wake up in the morning there is a massive build up of responses. I read each one of the responses though. I have the urge to reply to the really good ones, howver I would stop myself if I havent replied to the previous ones. Have a nice day!

I have gotten pretty bad about not commenting back to a member who took the time to respond to my initial discussion. I am so far behind that I won't ever catch up. I feel guilty but just don't have the time if a discussion gets loads of responses. I do have dial up and it is a slow process. I'd have to call the burglar alarm people out here to put a filter on another line. Next have the phone company connect high speed. If we didn't have the alarm I would have changed to high speed a long time ago. Initially we had a second phone line because of my husband's business but we really don't need it any longer. He uses his cell for any business calls. Eventually I will get fed up and change.

I also got tired of my very slow dial up connection that I decided to get a broadband. Now I can comment on all the responses to my discussions. I am halfway through and it's still a lot of work. I'm making up though.

I try to comment on everyone that responds to me. I've been trying to get into a habit of doing it even if the person doesn't have much I can respond to. I do try to be courteous though and I know sometimes I falter in this task, but I can't really blame anyone but myself. I know dial up can be a pain, My fiance nor I pay for the internet here, but we have DSL so we don't have to worry about a slow connection! Congratulations on the upgrade though! I know that it can be really expensive!

Even when I was just using a dial up before, I managed to reach the payout twice. Now that I am using a faster internet connection, I am sure I can reach the payout in just a few days. Thanks for responding.

As much as possible i do. I do comment right away whenever i see that there is someone who responded. Though i cannot comment right away sometimes but i make it a point to go back later on when i'm not busy. Most of the time, i would rate the response positively as an appreciation eventhough he/she may not know it. I'm just using my phone and internet is pretty slow so i hope people would understand. It's pretty difficult to navigate discussions on my phone so i'm apologizing for this temporary technical difficulties.

I wonder why I cannot use my cellphone to make comments and start a discussion. I cannot open my account here, read all the discussions but can't comment. I have tried to adjust the size but still I can't do it. I am using an N95 phone. Even my Nokia E90 can't. How do you do it?

Like you, I always try to comment on the responses I get to my discussions. I think it's courteous to do so, and I feel like it's a responsibility. So normally I would only try to start discussions when I know I will have time to answer to the responses. I wouldn't start a topic during a time when I'm really busy and will have no time to answer.

I love to start a discussion and most of my discussions are random thoughts and spontaneous ones. Everytime I remember a good topic, I immediately write it here before I forget.

I probably would, but no one has responded to any of my discussions as of yet lol. Now, I've only actually started two, and I've only been a myLotter for a few days. And one of them was a little obscure... but just sayin. lol

Don't worry if you won't get a response for your discussion. To tell you honestly, my first three discussion got zero responses. I also got that frustrating feeling of not getting a response when I was just starting and that was probably the reason why it took me a while to get back here and get active.

I have been through that. dial up was frustrating a nd took much of your time waiting. It was just recently when I changed to broadband and the speed difference is so great. I couldn't comment on all the responses for I had very limited load.

dorisday1971,
Like you I will make it a point to respond to fellow member's contribution, as I felt that it would be cordial, a sharing of knowledge and views. It will also be a time to make friends and understand more of people who are living in another part of the world, learning about other cultures and customs.
It is an enriching experience as a whole and I am just glad with this form of sharing.
Cheers.

having friends form different parts of the world is very interesting. From them, we learn many things especially those unique to their country. That's what I love having friends from around the world.

I feel like that myself as someone has bothered to read and comment on my discussions.I like to read the responses and what people think otherwise whats the point.Sometimes if I am busy doing other things it may take time but rest assured I will read it and respond.xxx

I agree with you. There are times when we fail to immediately give comments for a variety of reason. My main reason then was my internet connection speed which was too slow. Now, I am trying to comment on all the responses that I have. With 495 discusssion and countless responses, it will definitely take me time to do that. I'm doing my best to finish that job.
