Africa Fancy Dress. Help please

My Girlfriend and i have been invited to a fancy dress party and the theme is Africa. I have talked to other people and they are going as Lions, Zebra`s, Hunters with Pith hats and various other animals. I thought i would ask you guys if anyone has any interesting fresh ideas as to what we could go as? Something a bit different from the normal stuff?
