Chocolate and chocolate chip cookies or Chocolate chip cookies?

I had a poker game with friends last weekend, I made a bunch of cookies. My friend tasted both of them for me and he liked it a lot and I think they tasted pretty good and chewy. But the chocolate and chocolate chips cookies ended up left overs. Dose people tend to like old plain Chocolate chips cookies more? I personally think they both taste good adn attractive hehe.
