Fact : multivitamins

Fact is that Multivitamins is not the solution of recovering body deficiet. Many people think Multivitamins are best way, Get it all in one shot.
But, the real facts are
i) Multivitamins have all the vitamins in very small qty than a single table of single vitamin
ii) Body is not deficit in all but only in certain vitamins depending on our food habits and taste.
Hence, it is only advisable to have an identified deficit vitamin as a tablet rather than tempted by high cost multi vitamins

I completely agree with you playsafe!Not only the facts you said but other reasons too to avoid too much of use of multivitamins.
1)Fat soluble vitamins are not excreted out of the body and gets accumulated.This can lead to hypervitaminosis.Hypervitaminosis of vitamin A causes liver damage and blurred vision.Hypervitaminosis of B can cause numbness of mouth and hand and difficulty in walking.
2) For proper absorption and assimilation of vitamins certain percursors are needed, which is not there in the multivitamins unless they are phytonutrients.
