Hmm... for me it depends on the country where i live now. WHen i was in indonesia, the rate for calling is cheaper... you can spend 1 hour for thousands rupiah...so cheap! and its pretty faster. people are getting more into call and talk. But here in the philipppines, the cheapest way to contact people is by SMS. ok.. most of the time i will send message and my fingers are getting fast and fast... its like i do have sport with my fingers... and its also affecting while typing in internet. i dont know, my fingers just become faster and faster... ahahhaha since im living in the country with the highest sms using in the world, so its better to use cellphone with good specification for sms... never use pda or touchscreen cellphone...or else, you will regret, the cellphone will easily damage... ahahah...

I prefer to send SMS much more. And usually I send it via the net and it's fast and free of charge. I will make the call when it's necessary. As I am not sure whether the other one is free or not. I don't want to make a call when others are busy. So a SMS won't bother their life anyway. I love China

it depends on what network you are using if you are in the Philippines like I do. We have sun cellular network which gives you unlimited calls and sms on the same network for just P350 per month. Things are better explained if you are talking to someone over the phone. Though, there are things I do not like to discuss through calls so that nobody hears it and the message is just within the two of us that I am talking with, so I use sms.

I prefer SMS messaging. I tend to get on the phone with people who never stop talking that I find myself not wanting to talk to after a couple minutes.

I don't like messagings that much... I only use it because sometimes people I know like to & instead of calling me, they just text messages me or email me... Or at times, I get an emails or text messages from work... I much prefer a phone call...

I would rather use sms because it gives me more freedom. I can take my time choosing what i want to say os i can choose how long i want to say it or i can choose to not respond at all if i dont want to.

I like to talk but I use SMS to reduce the use of minutes when possible or when I can't exactly make the phone call but I can text.

i use sms more. but more doesn't necessarily mean all the time. when i was newly married and my husband would text it'd go unanswered. sometimes i feel like you said your part, okay... :)

It depends on the need.I choose sms when i just want to say hi to my friend or fams. But i choose dial up when there were an important thing to say especially in emergency..
