What do you think people should be divide on the bases of religion .I dont think so.I think that all people belong to same religion .no one belongs to a particular religions.I think these have been created by humans only and every one knows god is only one .SO no need of churches, mosques, temples,t etc.I think god is in every human being.SO every one is a place of worship.I am very sorry if it hurts your religious feelings, but i just wanted to express my feelings.

Read my discussion "Did God divide us". You are very right but for most of the people it is very difficult to see God in each individual because they can not beg from individuals their unending wishes! They have to go to a church or a temple where they can pray nay beg for their petty wishes, as they are selfish. Nobody will hurt anybody if we started seeing God in everybody. I can go on, but just think about this.

To consider every human, nay every living being as an abode of God, is really the ideal. If one could bring tis into our lives, then much has been achieved. If you are able to do so in troth, in thought mind and body, then sure you do not need temples or mosques or churches. But to come to this state with that feeling etched in our souls is not directly possible for everyone. Hence you have physical places like mosque, synagogue, church or temple to get into the frame of mind to have an intimate dialog with Him. This dialog is the prayer.
According to Hindu belief syatem God is everywhere. Then why go to a temple? There is only one reason. When they place an idol/image and consecrate that according to the properly performed rites, and then thousands of devotees throng and have their personal dialogs with the Lord, the place becomes hallowed by their presence too. Anyone sincere devotee of God comes to a place of worship he makes it holy as does His presence. If at all by going to a place of worship you are just reiterating IOW , several people who were themselves the abodes have God have come here and hallowed the place, by bringing their own experiences to it.
You might say what if not-so-holy people do visit. Do not be bothered by that. Think of the fact that even the unholiest person has the Lord present in him. For instance the Rudradhyaaya[YV K4] advises one to see Him in very ordinary and mundane people like Hunters [niShAdebhyashca namaH, Gatherers[pu~njiShTebhyshcha namaH],Cowherds saw Him [utainaM gopA adR^ishann], Tribals and as if that were not enough, THE VEDA asks you see Him in Cheats, Robbers, Cruel and Heartless people too!
So, who goes to temple[or for that matter Mosque, Church or Synagogue], and what happens there should not deter you to see Him and be close to Him. If you want to set right a wrong, by all means do! But do not cease to love God because these people visit His abode! God is One who can never be sullied, by anyone however sinful or despicable he/she is. Everyone has a right to rest their troubled heads in His Lap! Who are we mere mortals to consider even amking the vaguest comment on His Infinite Benevolence!!

Your thoughts are very wonderful Shray, but people are all very different and I do not think that it would ever work. Some people feel so strongley that they are the only ones who are right, that they are ready to kill over their beliefs and some do. In the past, many many did.
It would just be nice if folks would calm down and accept each other as different and let each other believe the way they want to.
I like to think that G'd is with us always just as you said, but I would not be surprised if He just gets disgusted with us and leaves us at times.
