How many of you think this brand of hip-hop (ewwwwwwwww!) will still be popular and spawning hits in the top 40 come 2019? Where do you see music going in the next 10 years? I'd like to see it go back to the glory days of the 60s to the 70s (pre-1977, or course.). The drama, the lyrics that told a story (sometimes sad one, at that), sometimes songs that sounded sad due to the predominance of major 7th chords, harpsichords, electric rhythm guitars, maybe some synthesizers mixed in...bass brought back in, etc.
