It's really applicable to me, i can say it's effective to me lolz. It's one of my coping mechanism everytime i feel down, i just go to the mall having window shopping or do real shopping then i feel better. It's therapeutic coz it ease your depression,it makes your mind busy while having shopping and you forget your problems for a bit.
Happy posting.

Hi! Yes,there are times I find shopping very therapeutic, since it diverts my attention while doing so.Especially when I am in the ladies' section of undergarments. But there are times, shopping is not appropriate for me,if of course I don't have money allotted for it.

For me, I like to just walk around and look at things. I don't have to but anything at all, but just walking around and looking takes my mid off of thet hings that are stressing or depressing me. I got into the habit of walking around the store just to look when I was pregnant with my oldest son. I knew I didn't have much money and couldn't buy things, but Iwould look around at things I would like to try to save for and jut escape from my house for a little while. I think that just the change of scenery helps a lot!
