hey mylotters i have a funny question.
while you eat in a restaurant, do you check the name of the food first or do you check the price of it.i went to a restaurant with my friend and he started looking out for the prce first and then ordered the item.and it didnt prove to be that good as he expected.
do you do the same way as my friend?

I barely go to restaurants where I am not familiar with the cuisine therefore all the food listed in the menu are familiar to me.
I do of course look at the name of the food and then the price. Price really matters to me. I am not overflowing with money so every centavo counts.

The first thing i do is i check out the menu.. if it's my first time to eat at the restaurant then i'd check the prices first then proceed to my order.. but you know what, i haven't eaten at fine dining restaurants for months as i've been saving up to pay off my debts, support my medical needs, etc.. plus, with the global recession and financial crisis, it isn't practical to dine out these days..

Lol! Yeah i do but usually, the cheaper items are on top of the list like hamburger first, then cheeseburger, then quarter pounder and so on. I usually pick the middle like cheeseburger. Sometimes when i got lots of money, i just don't care at all. I just choose what i want as long as it's not ridiculously expensive. Lol!

The 1st thing I do is look at the menu to see what they serve if I've never eaten there before. Then I check out the prices. Then I ask everyone else what they're getting to see how much they're spending on a meal LOL. Sometimes if I see others not spending too much I will do the same. But not very often. I have come to learn that going out to eat is supposed to be an enjoyable experience. If you're hungry, spend the money on an expensive dish. It shouldn't matter how much a meal costs if you only go out to eat every other week or so. If you dine out a lot, then maybe one should be concerned with the price.
One thing I've learned is going out to eat isn't supposed to be cheap. If you're looking for a cheap meal, then people need to settle for McDonald or the local Chinese spot. The only time I really don't spend that much on a meal at a restaurant is if I know I'm going to be eating dessert afterwards. Other than that, a good meal should cost around $15-25.
