Metallia VS Slayer

I like both, but in my opinion metallica has no competition here. At least based on all the music they've done. Slayer does sound better then a lot of the newer metallica though.

METALLICA leaned more on mainstream nowadays but it can't be denied that they were the pillar of trash metal alongside SLAYER, EXODUS, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX... metallica somehow encompassed their representation and roots from their proto metal influences to lynyrd skynyrd, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, Power Metal, a fare share of power ballads as well in the heydays Metal the context of their rock to metal upbringing... SLAYER however has proven how hardcore they are to the trash metal culture that they stood for altogether SLAYER is as Hard/Heavy/Trashed as they have ever been... I'd say both has proven their right both ways... MetallicA brought Trash to mainstream music... Slayer Hammered the nail that influenced other bands such as SEPULTURA, KREATOR and other kick a## bands that we knew... Id vote for both...
