Yes, I know what you mean.
It all seems so useless.
But, I have been off work for almost 2 years now.
I can only say, without work, life is even harder.
Without work you have no money. (a lot less)
You cannot do what you want to do.
When you have work , you have money, but no time to spend it.
I know both situations. I must say, I would rather have a
job. This way I will be busy, feeling like a part of life.
Where now I feel like I am not a part of life.
Being at home doing nothing.
Without money, you don't have friends.
Sometimes life can be very lonely.
Be happy you have a job, and are a part of life.
Take care.

My autistic son keeps me very busy . I also had some health issues some months back that kept me from being as active as I use to be, so I had surgery in January and I'm doing a bit better after the surgery. I know my friends sometimes get upset with me because it's hard for me to follow threw with plan's I make with them sometimes because of health reasons and because it's hard to find a babysitter for a child with autism but I don't mean anything negative about it towards them and I hope my friends understand how busy I am sometimes, but some of them are not understanding . Usually the friends that are not understanding are the friends who have no children and have more free time to do whatever they want and don't understand the demands of being a parent. Since my surgery I am doing more things now and trying to hang out with my friends more since I'm feeling a bit better.
wxc6822, please try and take some time off ( if you can ) to spend time with your family. If you have a day or 2 off from work a week then you should be able to plan something with the family. Even if you just stay home for a family cook-out or have a family movie night with popcorn and pizza then that is nice time well spent with the family.I think almost every single person on the planet is very busy at one time or another we just have to manage our free time better so we can have quality moments with our family and friends.

My work, family, and school keep me busy. Honestly I stay so busy I hardley have time for myself. Sometimes it is nice because I am not so bored but sometimes it seems like I don't have enough time and I am overwhelmed! I think that is life though;-)
