Sometimes it crosses my mind to think of what is really my purpose here in this world. Based on observations on how people go and manage their lives, it fascinates me to think what are their thoughts and how do they drive the wheels of their lives. What are the sets of thoughts that influence how they carry on with their lives? I always think of have they found their purpose in life to perform such acts, to make such decisions and forego other opportunities. Honestly, I am still thinking what is really my purpose here.
How about you? How you ever thought of your purpose in life? Are you aware of certain direction which might have influenced your past decisions?

Although it crossed my mind a few times, I never had deep thoughts about it. Maybe because I was thinking more of my goals in life rather than what I can contribute in the society. I think part of the process of learning your purpose is to know your self first and how you affect other people's lives. You cannot give something that you don't know you have.
I just wonder sometimes if we really get to know our purpose before our time is up. I mean, for example, I'm living my life the way it is because it is what's expected of me and this what I'm used to...but maybe this is already my purpose. Maybe it doesn't have to be something grand or unique. Maybe I'm just here to help the people that I care about.

Could be. Probably in the process of achieving of your goals, you help people along the way. And that could be the very purpose you have been created. I guess you are correct. You can't just tell yourself that something is actually your purpose in life.
I always thought that a man's life is always been preoccupied by the need and wants surrounding his environment. For most people, thinking beyond this may not have actually crossed their mind. What concerns them are the immediate things in their environment.

i think my pupose in life is to help others, either live easier or work easier. i see alot of angles that others don't see, or maybe don't want to see. but for some reason i can't find the angle for myself.

Oh yes.
I am aware of the certain directions that have influenced my life.
And some times I wish I could do everything over again, knowing what I know now.
I am sure, I would have done a lot of things different.
But, then I guess, when you don't go through difficult times, you don't learn.
Without learning, you don't grow.
I suppose that is the meaning of life; Learning, tolerance and Love.
Take care.
