I read an article saying that we need to have at least 5 different types of vegetables or fruits serving per day in order to stay healthy. It is not a simple task for me, it requires discipline to achieve that! Mostly, I only have an apple in the morning and one vegetable dishes during lunch. I'm still working hard to have additional 3 types of vegetables or fruits to meet that goal. How about you?

Uh···I always have a banana or an orange on morning, and eat some fruits an hour before lunch, just like peach,or pear,or grapes,or strawberry and so on.And about the vegetables,I enjoy my vegetable dishes every day ,every meal, though I'm not a vegan,i love all kinds of vegetables so much that i'll feel uncomfortable after a meal without vegetables

You may be having more fruits and vegetables than you think. For example a 1/2 cup of tomato sauce is considered one serving. This easily found in pasta and pizza of course. Also tomato soup. Usually a 6oz cup of fruit juice also counts as a serving. Dont forget to count onions as well. I think an easy way to get a lot of servings is to eat a mixed green salad with dinner along with at least one other veggie.
Five servings is actually on the very low end, the recommended is more like 9-11.

The best way that i have found is with my juicer, You can add what you want each day and drink them all at once if you want. and you get a lot more than what you need every day. I usually have my fruits in the morning and in the evening. and my veggies with lunch and and dinner. all you have to do is experiment until you get the perfect combination for your taste. and this way if their are any that you do not like you can add a little and you cant taste it.

I know i defineatley do not do this. I know i will eat at least two vegetables if lucky at dinner. Then for a snack i would eat a frit if there is any avaialble at the house. Its a hard task to stay with and up to it. I dont know how many people actually do this, but i know im not one of them. Do you really think that alot of people even do this because i dont.
