did you download the eWoss toolbar yet?

Yes, I downloaded it. I had to download it in Internet Explorer, since the Firefox version is not, apparently, available (404 message on that page). It is quite likely that some people will get messages informing them that it 'may harm their computer'. This is because the toolbar communicates with the eWoss server in order to update its information. This is quite normal behaviour for many toolbars and, though it causes it to be classified as 'spyware' or 'adware' by some anti-spyware applications, it probably isn't harmful. The eWoss website does state that it does not contain spy-ware. Since the toolbar is heavily oriented towards the US, I didn't find it as useful as I would have expected in this day and age: I find it very depressing that so many sites seem to think that all Internet users must be American. It is possible that that is only a temporary state of affairs for eWoss but that is outside the terms of the review. It concerned me somewhat that there are no removal instructions and no information about what elements the toolbar installs.

No I haven't downloaded it and I am not going to. I don't downloan much to my computer to much of a chance of a virus adware or spyware. Just like you wrote you looked it up and it says it has adware. I am not going to chance it for .10 cents.

I tried downloading eWoss toolbar but after downloading and before installation I got message that are you sure you want to install it as it may even harm your computer so I stopped there. I might not try it again as for few dollars i cant take such a big risk.

My husband said no as it might upset our computer system to be quite honest I have had a look at these tasks and it is beyond me so I will stick to discussions.xx

No , and I feel it is not wort downloading. The sort of the thing the mylotters have introduced this only for the ones who are interested in making only.

I have not downloaded it yet for the same reasons many people have mentioned. I have had many problems in the past with toolbars causing issues with my computers. I am not sure if the pay is worth all the frustration that may come from it if I have to remove it and all its components if it does in fact contain malicious software.

In fact I think I can finish this task easily. However, I have tried to download this toolbar from last night until right now, it still fails. The link is unavailable. I don't understand why. It seems that not only me have such kind of problem. I love China

well actually i havent tried anything in the task bar yet not yet especially the downloading thing maybe because like you i am hesistant to do so because it may not be good or i dont know. maybe we could inform each other if it is good .

I have thought of the possibility that ewoss could be an adware. I guess that's how online business works. I'm just using my phone to surf the net so it is impossible for me to install the toolbar unless they have a mobile version. That also means i don't have the chance to take advantage of the ewoss task.

No, it will not download. I get an error message when I go to their site. By the way to the other poster I think they are only offering 10 cents, not 25 cents. The strange thing is there seems to be multiple offers to write a review of the eWoss toolbar, I wonder if they are accepting a review on each offer or whether there is a restriction to one. There does not seem tob be any guidance on that.

Hi Sandra! I really liked the idea of the new tasks, but I have no intention of downloading some new toolbar and getting paid very little to possibly infect my computer! I did look at the other tasks availible, but I don't think I am computer literate enough that I would spend my time doing reseach for .25. I would rather just come here and post, since it's not really about the money for me here. Have a great day!

I downloaded it and used it for a bit. I did look up other reviews on it to see what else was out there. I dont normally use Internet Explorer so I dont see myself using eWoss anymore....the only reason I have IE is just incase something happens to my AOL. I use AOL as my browser for everything. After download though I will say it is very customizable and personal. Its a pretty good toolbar to use. I go thru all my programs each month and remove anything I dont need or use or anything that shouldnt be there and I will probably remove it then.

I downloaded the eWOSS toolbar. Well it did update some stuff from server and took bit long time to get installed..I found it good, cool and innovative as it displays news dynamically in a short window. Well I am not too sure whether it contains any malware or stuff like that. Just thought of sharing my expereince. Good day to all.

I tried to download this toolbar today, but I got the error message saying the page was not available or working or something. I read in a previous answer that they had to download it on IE instead of firefox, so that explains why I was not able to download it. Really I dont like adding things to my computer that I no Nothing about, it makes me nervous, especially because I dont have virus protection.

I don't ever download toolbars. First they are almost always adware and they take up cycle time among other things, too much of this stuff slows down your computer. Second, they take space away from my browser window, I want to see the web pages not toolbars when I use my computer. They can not pay me enough to download a toolbar.

Hi sandragellar..I did download the toolbar, I dont think this one is dangerous to the computer...I just wanted to see if they would really pay 10 cents and how long it would take...lol,,Just sort of feeling out the program to see how it works and what time frames are involved. I also wrote one of the 4 paragraph things too. The weather thing on the toolbar came in handy once today, I was wondering the temperature before I went out and since im up in a condo, I cant tell. THe toolbar told me!!

ya i downloaded it and nothing happened. if you have anti-virus software, it will ask you if you want to download. nothing happended no big deal
