What is your favorite kind of cake?

My birthday is coming up soon and I have been trying to think of what kind of cake to buy. What is your favorite? Do you like cheese cake? I love it but unfortunately my daughters don't, so I have to pick something that we will all enjoy. I was thinking of chocolate cake but I think that it is just too traditional and I would really like us all to try something different. I would love to hear your suggestions, What would you buy?

I like chocolate cake! I like ice cream cake as well! But chocolate ice cream cake is the best for me! YUM YUM! Also I like cheese cake... Some people say cheese cake is more like a pie than a cake but it really is a cake because it is made in layers! YEAH!

i have to say that my favorite cake is one that I ate when I was little. The Pillsbury Funfetti cake is just about the best thing ever! I still love it!

i usually have red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. since i like cheese cake a lot also, you may try this.

Chocolate cake with chocolate icing. I love chocolate anything. I am what you call a choc-aholic. I do love cheese cake. I like chocolate cheese cake. My hubby likes cheese cake with strawberries. They do make cheese cake smaplers with all different types of cheese cakes in one. You and you daughters might like that. Just talking about this topic is making me hungry. If you want to try something different I know walmart has lots of theme cakes. We chose the princess theme for my daughters 1st birthday but it is totally up to you. Strawberry cake might be good. Lots of people like strawberries. I hope this helps;-)

My favorite kind of cake is Caramel Cake. However, I know they are hard to make. It's hard to get the icing just right, in other words. I nearly always had a hard time trying to find anybody to make me one for this reason. You said you wanted to buy a cake, though. You might can buy yourself a caramel cake, if you want one.
I also like red velvet cake. That's another suggestion.
I used to always want a chocolate cake for my birthday when I was a child and mother would make me one every year. As I got older, I wanted to try something different.----------
