My favorite bishop said, "It is not what you go through, it is what you come through. That is the test of whether or not your faith is real. We as Christians know that God promises to not give us more than we can bear. All we need to do is trust in his unfailing love for us and we will make it through whatever the enemy tries to bring against us.
In the last year, I have been through one of the hardest test of my life. There were times when I wanted to just give up and friend's had to encourage me to keep believing in God's faithfulness. I continued to think about all the things that he had brought me through before and even though there were many times that it felt like his presence was not with me, he saw me through this and brought me to higher ground. His everlasting love for his children is just so awesome. Can you relate?

Yes....that is exactly the truth me and my hubby were discussing about last week, we are currently going through soem hardships, we have the habit of praying everyday before going to bed, this past one week has been so wonderful, God has been speaking to us through the scriptures that he is not going to let us down and that he is going to make us expand to the right and to the left...Praise To God

I can relate to what u've said...God's love is so great and everlasting! He never changes...simce the beginning...even if I face a lot of pressures and difficulties in life, sickness and sometimes crisis...nothing can separate me from His love, His ultimate challenge for me is to give my full turst in Him that He is in control, I am not depending on myself and I don't have the right to claim myself...I am submitting to the Lordship of Christ. He is my only master for He loves me.

Yes!! there had been times when i feel his almost presence in my life and i know that he will see you through no matter how hard it may look at that time. and let me tell you even the most happiest, wonderful, richest... person have some most hardest times in their life. As it was written in the bible, " This too shall pass" everything have s season, a time to cry, a time to laugh....., and a time for everythin under the sun. What i suggest for you to do is what i usually do during hard times is " Think of the more unfortunate persons in this world", maybe your neighbour, relatives or colleague and you will then realise how blessed you are to have found HIM. God Bless.

Hi Rozie dear! I am very happy with this discussion knowing that you always come through! yes, I can relate to that my dearest friend. I have been through a lot of hardships and trials until now but I am happy and secured somehow that God never abandoned me. Just like you, there are those times that I can not feel His Presence and I feel kinda lost somehow. However, a voice inside me pushes me to keep believing. I know that as long as God is in my heart, my soul and my life, I have nothing to really fear.
Take care and blessings to you!

thank you my friend. i really could relate to your situation. i am in that situation right now. wanting to give up and be on my own. to move from this place and start at the other. to really be on my own at the boundary of my own decisions and plans. the life that i am living right now is totally a failure one. i tried to masked it out by the works i had, but still reality could creep in. i am always crying and wanting something else. wanting to be somebody except me. i just don't like it. but as you said it, God's love will see me through.. huhuin tears and in pains

As most people can, I can relate.
When we lost our son, I received a card that had this verse in it:
"When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." (Isaiah 43:2) King James Version
For some reason I reminded myself of this verse many times and it comforted me. I love to read the Psalms when my heart is heavy. It helps me to refocus on God and look up instead of down.
It sure is not easy to go through trials but I once heard that when refining gold, the metal is heated and refined until the refiner can see his reflection in the liquid mixture. I hope someday God will see His reflection in me. God Bless You.

I can very much relate..There had many many phases in my life, still there are, where I doubted God's presence..I was a staunch beleiver in god, but various incidents loosened this rock steady belief.. After that I became so insecured..As if the shelter of protection over my head is no more... Now I am still a beleiver of god but it makes me wonder if he is really present, how can his children suffer so much??? Why don't he listen to the urges, erases the tears of his children when they call him so deeply? Do you have any answer? please tell me!!

Yes, I can relate myself that God is always with us no matter how small is your faith for Him but still He embraces just to care for you by His unending love. I feel that God is always on my side because every time I have a problem I feel so very different when I talked to Him and pray.
