hi amabella... been there actually I got only 6K on my separation pay before so what I did is that I went into job fairs and went through a lot of interviews and maximized my whole day on finding a job. If you're ok with trying to get into the cheapest transportation as much as you can but you just have to make sure that your suit or your attire is not stain-prone. The other thing is that when finding a job with only that for a budget, make sure that those jobs you are applying for are near your residence to have lesser expenses. I did that. It was hard but I was able to get a job in just a matter of two days and tried to use up the remaining separation fee on my everyday expenses while on training and stuff ... If people can, you can do it, too! Go girl! This is a setback that you can overcome through girl power hee hee...

may i suggest that you think beyond surviving.. you think on how to add more to your P13,000. do not look at it as ready for expenses. look at it as your savings. there are many job fairs going on in the cities. you may want to check them up. or you can try your luck in call centers which have openings all year round. just try to improve your speaking skills. tell your friends and family members about being laid off. they will be sympathetic to you and will offer some sound advices. goodluck amabel!
