Am I Alone in Thinking Megans Got To Go

I agreed with Simon 100% tonight. I love Megan Joy, she's been one of my favorites since her audition. But if you took the girl who was on tonight's show in the long flowing dress and the over-done hair and stood her next to the girl from her original audition, if not for her tattoo, I wouldn't know they were the same person. She looked very much, as Simon said, like she was going to the Prom. But how she was dressed had no bearing on how she sounded and she sounded awesome. While my reference is possibly going to be lost on a lot of people, she sounds a lot like Zooey Deschanel...the same old-fashioned, smokey, bluesy voice that brings to mind images of a 30's-40's speakeasy. i personally love meghan. i have taken a lot of music classes which still doesn't make me an expert in any way but i know a bit about tone. i love her voice and think she is really good and unique.

I personally think she's cute, charming, and talented. She's certainly not the best, but she's clearly better than some of the other people who made it through. The blind guy butchered Wild Angels, but they fawn over him because he's disabled. This was truly the year of the sob stories.

I like Megan. I'm not familiar with the song she sang... so it sounded ok to me. I like the tone of her voice and delivery. On the other hand hearing Adam sing "Ring of Fire" almost made me ill! That's what I call butchering a song. Johnny Cash was probably rolling over in his grave last night!

OMG ladym33, Megan is one of my favorite, beside how beautiful she is she has a very strong and unique voice, so i guess i ll agree with judges, She is awesome , but i respect your idea too! Have a great day!

I agree with you its past time for Megan to go. I am really suprised at how much talent is in the competition this year. There are some awesome singers in this competition!

I agree with you. She is a pretty girl and has a decent voice but she did a bad job on the song last nite and I don't see her hanging out for the entire duration.

I agree with you one hundred percent megan has got to go only now we saw the results, she is still there, and alexis grace is gone, that is a shame because the girl choice a bad song but she can really sing.

season 7, i was wondering why jason castro and kristy lee is in the contest. kristy lee is pretty, jason is unique. megan, they said is the prettiest in the bunch, and if her weirdness stands out, she's unique... but weirdness does not reside in one contestant this season, add adam... back to the point, she's pretty and unique, not a belter, but still, if she can come up with one brilliant performance, she can stay... i mean look at jason castro, i don't think he dreams of belting out, but he got at least 3 great songs... she needs to stay, i think america is being kind to michael sarver and scott mcintyre...

Awww, I kinda like Megan. She's got her own sound and I like that. I don't see her having what it takes to win it all, but I wouldn't mind her being around for a little while longer.

Ladym, Megan has been one of my favorites from the audition process.Although I don't see her winning over Danny, Adam or Lil, I believe she will go quite far both on the show and after. I have to agree, her performance tonight wasn't her best and from Randy Travis' comments, it wasn't what she had done in front of him so I have to give her the benefit of the doubt and believe she had to change the arrangement and key so she could perform it in her sich state. Look for bigger and better from Megan if she makes it past tonight. I still believe Michael may be in danger tonight.

I agree with you. I didn't care for her song. I don't think she will be there much longer but I don't think she will be gone this week tho.

I also agree with the judges, she did a good job last night. And i do not pay any attention to their looks, She has her own style. I do not think that she will hang out to much longer though, because their are to many that i feel are better than she is.

ladym33 i am so with on that i thought she torched that song. I do not like her much like i did not like the irish girl last year for the same reason a full arm tattoo is distracting hers look like a billboard but i was shocked when they said it was good because i thought it was horrible.
